Went in as a new patient to get a basic medication I have been taking for years but having recently moved here I needed a local doctor. Everything seemed to go pretty well initially. However my new insurance requires a prior authorization. They wanted to wait for my records from my previous clinic to come so it was going to take a couple of weeks, not a big deal. Except when they received my records they sat on them for nearly two weeks, they claimed Dr. Amit was out of town until August 19th, except it's the 23rd, that means he/staff sat on them for a full work week. No communication to me or advancement of the prior authorization. When I called this morning the medical assistant was frankly rude, at one point telling me that if I didn't like their service I could go somewhere else and I was welcome to call their Patient service rep, don't worry, I already left her a voicemail. I have extreme doubts she will do anything about it but future calls to the Board and BBB are next steps. In what world is it okay to sit on a patients records for well over a week? When I asked if they would have ever done the prior authorization without me calling etc. she said something like "probably not."

Go anywhere else. This place will refuse to tell you the cost because $330 for 5 minute visit. Cash is their concern, not health.

They are on top of our health needs. The staff are respectful and patient with us. The doctor is trauma informed.

This place is horrible now. My dr who was Julie slind retired and now I have the worst Dr. kristie Thomas and Nicole reed. I SUFFER from severe migraines and back pain. It’s a fight every month to get my non narcotic migraine medication, I don’t even attempt to have them help my back problems. I’m currently suffering from a pinched nerve and numbness in my leg and dread calling to see either one of them. I’ve seen amambo before and she couldn’t care less about what you have to say and interrupts every other word to talk into her microphone. This place has gone down hill quick. Currently looking for a new place. Stay away from here if you have any choice. Find a real dr who cares.

Do not trust the doctors at this clinic with your health. They will fail to do simple things like check your medical history before ordering treatments, and are very careless. Dr. Ampambo is the worst doctor I’ve ever encountered. Avoid at all costs.
