Best urologist EVER!! Professional and very knowledgeable . His staff is awesome as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Freedman for approximately 20 years. I've found him to be very informative. He gives a diagnosis, explains why and offers procedures that will help the diagnosis along with his professional opinion about what may or may not be best in my situation. I have the highest regard for him and his professional expertise.

His personal manner is open, thoughtful and serious. As his patient I trust his diagnosis and course of treatment and can highly recommend him to others.

Dr Alan Freedman is by far the industry best Urologist you can find. After dealing with painful kidney stones for several months (no thank you to Healthcare Partners) I switched medical groups to Hoag. I will never go back! Dr Freedman is a Physician...Not a communications expert to all the complainers on Yelp. He removed a frickin stone that had grown to nearly 9mm! His support staff are amazing at authorizing the necessary scheduling for any surgery needed in a timely manner and are always friendly and flexible!

If there were more stars to give I would. I had gone to other urologist in Anaheim whose name I refrain from mentioning - he gave me the wrong diagnoses and recommended the wrong surgery. Something told me to get another opinion. Im so very glad I did. After listening to me and providing some testing in his office, Dr. Freeman pinpointed my condition and thoroughly explained my options including surgery. I opted for the surgery. Dr Freeman restored my quality of life 100%. THANK YOU Dr. Freeman!

I have stage 4 bone cancer because I neglected an annual prostrate check up. My prostrate formed a cancerous tumor and I got to the point that I could no longer urinate. I ended up in the ER. My sister, a surgery nurse knew about doctor Freedman. She told me that he was one of the finest urologist around. So I went to him. His mannerism is close to that of doctor house in one sense but he truly does care about his patients and knows his stuff. I had total confidence in the man after talking with him. He got me into Hoag for the Turp procedure and restored my ability to urinate normally. After some test he ordered he found out that the cancer had spread to my hip lymph nodes and then into my bones. He couldn't do much at that point and recommended some good Oncologist. I will say that doctor freedman is a straight to the point kind of a guy which I totally appreciated. He did not sugar coat it and told me it like it is. I found his entire staff to be competent and friendly and very supportive of me personally. I was very nervous since I had not been to a doctor in over 40 years. While sitting in the lobby I talked to a few of his patients and found that they too had the same good opinion of doctor Freedman as my self. I have recommended him to my friends and will recommend him to you. You will not be disappointed. I believe the doctor has been in practice for over 30 years and is one of the finest in his field. I have been a patient of Dr. Freedman's for 15 years. He is caring, thoughtful, very-knowledgeable, incredibly methodical, and on and on. I can't say enough nice things. I always come in with a long list of questions, and he has always spent much time answering each one. (He has an incredible staff that is soooooooooooooooooooo friendly.) A month ago, he performed the Urolift system on me for BPH. I was totally under. I have had zero, and I mean zero, pain. I am pain-adverse, and I have never felt anything. I HIGHLY recommend this doctor.....PERIOD. The Urolift system has been a game-changer for me. It works so well and was so easy. THANK YOU, DR. FREEDMAN.
