Dr. Akerman is amazing. He is intelligent and kind. He is an amazing physician and I’m so lucky to have him as a doctor!

Vicki is an incredible midwife with Dr. Akermans practice. I first met her in February 2020 and she delivered my baby at St. Josephs hospital in October 2020. She encouraged me throughout my pregnancy and gave excellent advice and resources to support my desire to have an unmedicated birth using hypnobirthing techniques. Id had a difficult birth experience with my first child and I was afraid to go through it all again. Vicki was so supportive at every visit and she assured me that my plan for a birth without medical interventions was absolutely possible. Her positive energy during the labor and delivery assured me that I was doing exactly what I needed to do. She provided topnotch postpartum care and even helped me with some breastfeeding issues I was having in the first couple of weeks. I felt so empowered by this birth and I am forever deeply grateful for Vickis support of my positive experience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Akerman for over 10 years. To this day I cannot say enough great things about him. I am currently recovering from a hysterectomy done by him on Nov 5th. My recovery is going great as the surgeon Gods have Bless Dr. Akerman with the ability to perform flawless surgeries. This is my 4th surgery performed by him. 10 years ago I had a myomectomy, then 2 c sections, and now the hysterectomy. I am blessed to have my children because of Dr. Akerman. He was able to save my uterus after my myomectomy and helped my husband and I conceive with fertility meds. From day one his bedside manner, knowledge , and experience are the things I share with others when referring them. After meeting him All is agreed he is the BEST OBGYN there is around and Im lucky to call him my doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Akerman by my former Gyno He had retired and was referring his patients to Dr. Akerman  I knew that I would be in good hands. My daughter in law  had already been to Dr. Akerman as well I was pretty pleased by him back then. Fast forward it was now time to have my yearly visit at the time I called to make an appointment Dr. Akerman wasnt available, but I was given a choice to see another one of his associates. I made my appt. The young ladies at the front were very polite and welcoming. The office was clean as I usually know what to look for considering I myself have been in the medical field for the past 30 years.  I look for cleanliness, knowledge and friendliness.At any rate I was seen by Vicki a mid wife that is part of the staff. She was very thorough and gave me so much information and had great bed side manners.  I left very satisfied with the whole staff.This is why I am giving this office a 5 star rating.I will refer my family and friends here.Keep up the great work!

I went to two different infertility clinics. Both told me I could not conceive & my only option was IVF. I saw Doctor Akerman in October/November 2019 and explained I wanted to extinguish all my options before trying IVF. Dr Akerman suggested IUI and I was 100% on board. The IUI procedure was a success on the first try. I have a beautiful and healthy baby. Dr. Akerman, NP Debbie, and staff took care of me during my pregnancy journey and now postpartum. I couldnt be happier.

Dr Akerman is amazing! He delivered my 4th son. It was first time having him and he was way better than my other doctors, very straightforward, knowledgeable, extremely experienced and has a great sense of humor. He knows exactly what hes doing. his nurse practitioner Saury is amazing too she saw me for most of my appointments and is so sweet and knowledgeable. I got to deliver through induction at 39 weeks 6 days because my baby was measuring big and Im so glad I did it was the easiest most pleasant delivery of all my boys! This birth experience made me wanna have more lol.

Good experience, clean office, super friendly staff and a great doctor!  I switched to doctor Akerman  after a notso great experience with my previous doctor (doctor wouldnt see her patients until the 2nd trimester). My very first consultation I met with doctor Akerman and he was very upfront with what to expect and gave me good advise to ensure I had a healthy pregnancy. When it was time to have this baby, I encountered complications but luckily doctor Akerman was there to deliver and follow up with me and my baby for several days after showing how much he cares for his patients! I highly recommend him and will come back to him when/if I have a second child.

Dr. Akerman and his staff are amazing. I have had 2 previous miscarriages (not while under Dr. Akermans care) and when I got pregnant again I was terrified. I found Dr. Akerman and visited him and I am so great full for him and his amazing staff. My pregnancy was complicated because of my high blood pressure, subchorionic haematoma and ec. The office always made me feel comfortable and they all are so caring. I just delivered my rainbow baby in January and I couldnt be more thankful and grateful for Dr. Akerman and his amazing staff.

Dr Akerman and Debbie are amazing! This is my first pregnancy and they have been with me every step of the way, answering all of my questions and spending extra time with me if needed. I am so confident, Dr Akerman will do an amazing job delivering my baby girl. Update* I just had my baby girl and after 24 hours of labor I had to have an emergency c section. Dr Akerman and his staff were amazing and took such great care of me. My baby girl is happy and healthy and Im so thankful I had such a good Dr
