I have been working with Allison since she first started her company. Allison is extremely knowledgeable about what is available in the senior living industry, and does an outstanding job listening to her clients needs! She truly cares, and works diligently to make sure she is helping to provide the absolutely best solution for the potential resident. If I was in need of this service for my family, I would not hesitate to use Allison!!

I had the pleasure of working with Allison after my mom had a stroke and needed an assisted living facility. From the first call, she was very available and willing to do whatever it took to find a place for my mom within our monetary constraints.Allison helped me understand the process of finding reliable care and really listened to our needs. Being suddenly dumped into the foreign landscape of senior care and living is jarring but Allison helped me understand the steps and took the time to explain the intricacies to me. I was communicating with several other assisted living placement services and not finding what I was looking for in placing my elderly Mother. It was not until the Case Manager (at the rehab facility where she was a patient) suggested Assisted Living Locators did I feel I was taking major steps towards finding the right AL place. From the very first phone call, I could tell Allison has a solid background, understanding and knowledge of all the AL facilities in the area. I provided my criteria and she quickly came back with a list of potential places with detailed information. Allison worked with me over the course of several weeks, answering all my questions and concerns in a quick, thorough and concise manner. She continued to be supportive and helpful up to and including the day we moved my Mother in . It was Allison that turned a difficult and emotional process into one that was very successful and doable!

Allison was a great partner in helping me navigate the very complicated world of IL, AL, and CCRC options for my Mom. Having a full-time job and not much spare time to review the many, many options, and the, many, many different facilities, Allison took all of that off my plate. She then came to me with the three best options that fit my top criteria and we were able to make the best decision for my Mom from that info that she compiled for all of her research. She definitely made it much easier for me to navigate this process. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for a partner in helping place a loved one into an Independent, Assisted, or Continuing Care facility.

Allison is someone you can 100% count on and trust to have you and/or your loved ones best interests as her #1 priority.  I am a sales manager for an assisted living and memory care community in the Durham/Chapel Hill area, and have had the opportunity to work with Allison and her clients on several occasions.  I knew Allison was special as soon as I met her, as she spent a significant amount of time and effort getting to know me, the care giving staff, and the overall operation of our facility/community so that she could better match our senior living community to her individual client (and family).  Allison also works extremely diligently to discover and understand her clients wants/needs, and pair them with the best solution for each individual.  Allison is there hand in hand with her clients (often going above and beyond), doing everything that she can to make a very challenging, confusing, and stressful situation as simple as possible.  One example of this would be the time she was helping a son move his parents into our community.  Both the son and his wife work full time jobs, and the move-in process was creating quite a logistical challenge for them as the family is generally responsible for furnishing the apartment.  Allison took it upon herself to be there to set up and make the beds, to hang clothes in the closet, arrange towels & toiletries in the bath room, and what ever else it took to make the new living space welcoming for the new residents!  I have worked with many senior care managers as well as senior living placement agents, and none has shown the caring and commitment that I see with Allison!  If you are in need of a senior living solution, I can't recommend Allison Schneider-Gulledge highly enough to help guide you through the process!!
