Balance in Motion is a very attentive and welcoming space, from the receptionist to the massage therapists and PTs! Dr. Choi specifically is so engaged with your needs, being beyond respectful and kind during sessions. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking PT care, 10/10!!!

Dr. Choi has been a lifesaver! I was originally going to a big box PT factory in the city, and not getting better, but worse with increased pain and loss of mobility in my shoulder. Dr. Choi determined I was not being treated for the correct condition, and prescribed exercises that were actually making my pain worse!!! Immediately after 1 session @ BIM, the pain associated with my adhesive capsulitis (ie Frozen shoulder) improved, and I had a treatment plan & answers. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Choi & my experience. She is not only incredibly intelligent and explains complex A&P, but is also extremely kind & compassionate. She provides one-on-one attention that is truly unheard of in OP PT clinics. Dr. Choi also has the best bedside manner I’ve ever encountered and truly cares about her patients. As an RN, my job is physically demanding and receiving treatment has enabled me to do my job again pain free. TL;DR: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. YUWON CHOI!!

Dr. Choi is passionate and committed to her patients and front staff, Darci, is always extremely responsive and willing to accommodate insurance. My TMJ has significantly improved since! Highly recommend.

Saw Dr Yoo won Choi for my vertigo. Within a few sessions with her doing Epley maneuvers, I’m feeling much better and the vertigo symptoms are almost gone. The only downside was that she’s usually fully booked I the afternoon hours so it’s hard to get an appointment. They took my insurance luckily and I just had to pay co-pays unlike other Physical Therapy places in NYC. Highly recommend it.

A lovely physical therapy office filled with caring people, I can easily recommend this office to anyone who needs to find a good place to recovery from their injuries.

The staff here are warm and very professional. I have received physical therapy, acupuncture and massage, which have greatly increased my mobility and decreased my pain. I share their business card with anyone who asks me why my salsa dancing has improved.
