I was referred to Dr. Marinescu by Hoag Emergency Room after experiencing persistent pelvic and bladder pain. Since I didn’t have a regular gynecologist, they suggested him for follow-up care. For almost a month, I had been struggling with constant pain that no one could explain. Hoag ran several tests but found nothing. When I called Dr. Marinescu’s office, he was able to fit me in the very next day, which is almost unheard of these days, where appointments can take months to schedule. The office staff was incredibly kind, and when I explained my symptoms to Dr. Marinescu, he immediately suggested performing a cystoscopy, even though it wasn’t originally planned for my visit. Luckily, he was already set up to perform the same procedure for another patient later that day, so I eagerly agreed—at that point, I was willing to try anything for relief. During the procedure, Dr. Marinescu discovered a kidney stone blocking my ureter, preventing urine from emptying into my bladder. He was able to remove the stone right then and there, giving me instant relief after weeks of pain. I had been suffering for nearly a month, feeling like I was being passed from one doctor to the next without answers. Dr. Marinescu’s quick action saved me from continued agony. I’m so grateful to have found him, and he will now be my OB/GYN moving forward. What a gift!

I’ve been going to Dr. Marinescu for about 9 years. He delivered both my kids and follows me for annual visits post kids. His calm demeanor was such a value for delivery, listened to what I wanted but told me when he thought something in my desires should maybe be discussed further. He is thorough and efficient, truthful, and has a great bedside manner. Would highly recommend him and his staff for anything for a woman whether it’s OB need for GYN need. He was has definitely been a patient advocate for me with all aspects of my health.

Doctor Marinescu has been one of the kindest Doctors I've ever been to. The girls up front are the sweetest. I felt right at home and I'm so glad to have found him for my journey in my pregnancy.

Dr Marinescu has great beside manners , very empathetic, polite, knowledgeable . No access issues for office appointment. Staff works in same day/ next day appointment when needed. Office quickly responds to messages and calls and Dr relays results quickly. Great office . If you are looking for a great OB Gyn Dr in OC would highly recommend Dr Marinescu
