I'll definitely recommend Dr. Chris Wahl based on our excellent experience with him for my wife's ACL surgery. My wife broke her ACL during skiing in Jan., and after multiple comparison, we selected Dr. Wahl for the surgery. She had the surgery by 5/3/2019 and today is 6/3/2019, my wife can walk almost 90% as normal and can go upstairs/downstairs without holding handrail. It's really amazing! Originally we were very struggle on this surgery since we saw tons of videos online about how painful people experienced of the recovery, but finally we decided to take the risk and do the surgery. I would say it's really worth to do the surgery instead of worry about the knees all the time. We entered OPA by 3pm at 5/3 and get prepared, Dr. Wahl come and did a quick brief with us on how the surgery will going, he's obviously just end previous surgery and it's been a whole day for him to work but he still seems to be full of energy. Then by ~4pm my wife entered the surgery room, after 2 hours I saw her, she's weak due to anesthesia but she feels very good, she said she just fall into sleep then it feels only 5 min after she wake up and the surgery is done. In later days when we revisit Dr. Wahl we saw the surgery video, it's only ~20 min in total, how efficient is him!! After I talked with nurse and got all the medicine, we went home, she took lots of sleep in 5/4 to rest. By 5/5, it's just 2 days after surgery, she's able to walk for 5 yard outside of our house with crutch! I was so excited about the result. By 5/7, it's the time we re-visit Dr. Wahl, my wife already can walk very long from parking slot to the building with crutch and feels very good, we even did dinner together outside to celebrate the great result! Oh, I almost forgot, Suzanne, Dr. Wahl's wife & PA, is really nice and full of knowledge! She helped my wife to take out the bandage, and spend almost 2 hours with us to went through the whole surgery process and explain tons of details on PT and recover, we do appreciate her explain on everything to guide our future recover process. Then, it's 5/8, day 5 after surgery, my wife can bend her leg to 90' degrees without huge pain! By 5/15, day 12 after surgery, she tried to walk without crutch and she made 10 yards! Really awesome! After that I don't have much things to write, it's just getting better and better, until today which is just one month and she's like 90% a normal person! I would say thank you so much Dr. Wahl and Suzanne! Thank you for your great experience and amazing skills which made the surgery super successful! Thank you!
