Dr. Christopher E.W. Smith

I've seen Dr. Smith for a Vasectomy and another minor operative office procedure. He acted with skill and dignity. He is a very funny person and talks pretty fast, both of which are my style, we get along very well.

Dr, Smith was informative, took as much time as I needed to discuss my situation and was very encouraging about my outcome. He relieved a lot of my anxiety when I was diagnosed with a small tumor on my kidney. I had successful laparoscopic surgery and excellent care and follow up. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

Took the time to listen to me. Answered all of my questions. Wait time was reasonable. Excellent surgeron who I highly recommend.

I had my first appt with him today and I was very impressed. His demeanor was nice, comfortable, caring and knowledgeable.

Dr. Smith has performed 3 surgeries for me involving kidney stones and did an excellent job each time. I have also been seen by his PA for some follow-up appointments. She, too, is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dr. Smith was recommended to me by someone that had required his services, and I'm glad they told me about him. Doctor in Owensboro wanted to do a huge open incision to get to a mass in my kidney. Dr. Smith did it with four small incisions. I was comfortable with him from the first time that I met him. I will, and have recommended him to others.

Waited 70 minutes. Staff said he’s always late. The assistant was brusque and walked at a much faster pace than I could follow. When the doctor finally got there, he was in a big rush.

We were going for a first time visit. We waited for an hour and a half. Finally got up to leave, no apologies!!!!! We will not be returning!!!!

If you love waiting 2 or more hours past each appointment and having someone waste your time, this is your man! If you love rude staff, this is your man! If you love disorganized office, come here!

I have now had 2 appointments, supposedly with Dr. Smith, in the last year. Both wound up being with his physician assistant, although Dr. Smith was in the office at the time. At my most recent appointment, I was told that the PSA test that had been run by their office had a result in the 200's. My primary care physician ordered the same test less than 2 months ago, the result in the 600's. The lab results, and the service I've received are both totally unsatisfactory. I will not return.
