After reading these reviews I was hesitant to schedule an appointment . However , when I called they answered the phone . I was able to schedule an appt within the month .. day of my appointment , I was scheduled at 4 , and I was in the area in the morning .. i called to see if there's anyway they can see me . And sure enough I was squeezed in .. they were more than accommodating , I saw the PA ( I can't remember the names , I'm horrible at name recalling ) .. however both the PA and the MA we're extremely nice and helpful and knowledgeable .. overall great experience .. Everyone tends to post when they have a "negative" experience .... People should hear about the positives as well !

After reading the reviews I had major attitude upon arrival, but every person I had the pleasure of speaking to in Dr Yoo's office was kind,friendly and extremely helpful. I arrived 30mins early and had questions,(lots)on the paper work and each was answered with patience and without attitude. I appreciated that considering my age. The first appointment, paperwork and then medical stuff. Then on to see Dr. Yoo for the exam. The questions asked to confirm why I was there as a double check to understand my concerns and what I expected would take place. Happily,we were planning the same out come. Dr.Yoo checked the areas I wanted taken care of and then examined areas of her concerns. Very professional and appreciated. Second visit was the procedures. I won't say it painless, but it went very well. As an added note of my thoughts. Medicine has CHANGED since I was a kid. Medical is NOW BIG BUSINESS. I certainly can not stop the change, but Dr Yoo has not let the idea that it's a business interfere with DR Yoo's treating her patients with understanding and care, not just a number and pay day. I was seen on time. Dr. Yoo and her PA spent reasonable time with me. I’m happy with the result of the procedure that done on my face.

I have been going to Dr. Yoo for over five years now and trust her implicitly with her skills and recommendations. She is especially expert at surgery. I was referred by my general practitioner because I had some skin cancer from over exposure to sun (I'm a surfer). She removed that cleanly and suggested I return for biyearly checkups. There have been several more skin issues that have arisen and just recently another removal and biopsy was needed. Dr. Yoo and her team were very pleasant, efficient, and professional. I really appreciated that she was very transparent with what she was doing throughout the process (it helped alleviate any anxiety I had). She also has a good sense of humor and a positive attitude on everything which lends itself to a good atmosphere. She recently enlarged and remodeled her office and increased her staff. I've been very impressed with the modernity and efficiency that came with it. The office was good when I first started visiting her, but now it has become top notch! I strongly recommend making Dr. Yoo your dermatologist.

Let me start with the scheduling portion first.. after calling several dermatologists I was pretty discouraged early on bc everyone was booked out til mid summer or later.. so insane to me, but normal I guess. Dr. Yoo's office was the last I called simply bc I was like "let me just try one more.." and just as I needed my luck to come through it did! They were able to get me 2 days after I called! As you can imagine I was SUPER happy about that... After reading the reviews I was a bit nervous about how it was going to go but I don't like to go off of other peoples opinions... everyone has a different experience. Also you're coming to see a DERMATOLOGIST not a nutritionist. & I would expect people with skin issues to automatically do their own research anyway to be aware of what their ingesting lol.. duh? Anyway. I was lucky enough to see Dr. Yoo and spend an appropriate amount of time with her. I also got an entire body evaluation and every mole checked out which I didn't expect from my first visit! :) so I was very happy about that as well. Anyway I'm getting started on Doxycycline oral & Metronidazole topical cream. I'll follow up in a couple of months!!

Dr Yoo is top notch! I came as a new patient and was seen first by her PA Renee. Renee was fantastic and answered all my questions. I then meet Dr Yoo, who did a full body scan and confirmed everything Renee had said. I had a few spots that they were a little concerned about and Dr Yoo and Renee were kind enough to give me all my options as to what the best treatment should be. I decided to " Keep an eye" on two of the spots so the nurse took a few photos for reference, but one I decided to biopsy. I scheduled an appointment with the nurse in the room so that the office could check my benefits. ( an awesome thing to do since I have a high deductible!! ) I was called a few days before my appointment and told what would be pre-collected at the appointment and was also given options for financing or to store a credit card. I really like that the office took the time to check my insurance info prior to doing the biopsy so I wasn't hit with a huge bill later! The biopsy was very easy and every aspect of the procedure was explained to me prior to anything being done which put my fears at ease! One week later, Renee called me personally to give me my results and thankfully it was benign! Every person I had the pleasure of talking to in Dr Yoo's office was so kind and friendly. I never felt rushed or like my questions, and there were A LOT, were a burden to them. I would definitely recommend Dr Yoo and Renee to any of my family or friends!

Dr. Yoo was very gentle and thorough. The staff were helpful and professional. I felt very comfortable and respected.

The physician assistant was ok but Dr. Elisa Yoo was always in a hurry. I didn't even see her wash her hands before touching me

Dr yoo is very nice she gave me exactly what i need.She answered all of my questions with pleasure even the insurance when i call to check if they will have money from me they told me no everything is good with the insurance and it was true. I recommend Dr yoo highly

I have had several visits to Dr. Yoo's office. She is very through, knowledgeable, and fun personality. She has performed a few procedures on me with excellent results. One procedure I would consider difficult and could have been very painful for me. The result turned out successful and very little pain for me. I recommend her to anyone. She is a very good doctor.
