0 stars it it were possible. I was misdiagnosed 10 years ago by the Van Schoors and even after multiple meetings they never re-evaluated me… for 10 years! Not only this but when it came to medication I had many issues, one of which was that when I brought a possible side effect to Julie Van Schoor’s attention instead of listening she upped my medications. I then learned, after connecting with another mental healthcare professional, that the exact medication that was upped, was what was the cause of the side effect that I mentioned. Not only this but it was a common side effect that she should have caught. And the latest is receiving a billing statement saying that I had 2 Telehealth appointments. The second of which all Julie Van Schoor said to me was, essentially, that she could not help me, for which I am now being billed $500. At the time I was having a mental health crisis, alone, in a new place.I will never recommend them to anyone. The lack of care and interest in me as a patient, as well as discounting my struggles because they never bothered to know me or the stuff that I have witnessed and dealt with.I have now found someone new, and after one appointment with her actually listening to me (amazing how that works) my diagnosis has changed and I am seeing improvement in my mental health for the first time in forever, or so it feels. In short, do not go here. Go somewhere that values you, your mental health, understands how hard it is to struggle but still have hope and looking for help.
