An experienced Primary Care Physician JohnB- I’m a new patient. On my very first visit with Doctor Carlson, he quickly identified my source of previously diagnosed but untreated pain associated with neuropathy and already my life has improved. Today’s third appointment months later was via telemedicine and in these days of everything Bluetooth I felt I was actually able to provide all the information needed at such sessions (weight, Blood Pressures, Blood Sugar readings and the rest) it’s really important for me having comorbidities that occasionally I can visit the doctor from home. It’s apparent from the outset from this Doctors manner and experience I’ve found a Primary Care Physician I can count on. The office Staff are both competent empathetic.JohnB

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Carlson forever 8 years. He has been a great medical resource for me. He is always thorough in his exams and has often been very accommodating in seeing me if an urgent need. He is also excellent at monitoring and answering emails through the NextMD site. Very fortunate to have him as my primary physician.

I have been seeing Dr. Carlson for 12 years. He is an outstanding Physician and through the years I have found his staff to be courteous and very professional.

I love Dr. Carlson. He is kind, takes the time to listen and is extremely knowledgeable in his diagnosis and recommendations. His staff is wonderful. Ignore the one star review as she is profane.

I really like Dr Carlson and i hesitate to rate the other factors because i dont go to his office that often. He has moved and i beieve many things have improved.

I love Dr. Carlson and his front office are great! BUT, the receptionist, Kathy, is worse then horrible!!!! and his back office is almost as bad as Kathy. I have an HMO insurance through GNP, and Dr Carlson always tells me he is going to refer me to other doctors. the back office never puts the referral in, unless a call to see what the progress is on my referral and THEN it is put in. also if the doctor I am being referred to needs additional information the back office can't be bothered to send the information requested. When I call the office it takes about 3 trys because, Kathy, will hang up on you, doesn't even try to put you on hold just hangs up on you. She is totally unprofessional, and I can't believe that she is the 1st impression that a new patient gets from this practice.... Very frustrating from a primary care practice.

Very good doctor, horrible staff. They rarely return calls or forward information properly to other doctors. I finally left him after 10 years.

Good doctor, but he's gone to a Concierge Service. If you don't subscribe to this service for an extra fee, they can't get you an appointment for 3 months. I've had to go to the emergency room twice for what should have been a doctors visit, but he couldn't see me for several weeks.
