I'm not sure where to start but how about starting with the very fact that she's been my trusted psychiatrists for nearly 5 years now. Throughout the years I found out that my daughter too was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 depression. I guess it's in the genes. Lol Anyway, I met Dr. Siddiqui through an Intensive Outpatient program and I was being treated both for psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, bi-polar and for addiction services. When she first met me, I was a wreck and disaster and obviously needed help. I wasn't on the right meds so she started me with a few meds to help out with "my issues". Throughout time she found the right concoction, that worked for me. It wasn't an instant fix and it took time to figure out but let me tell you I never felt better when I we found the right meds to use that would take care of all my issues. I was almost homeless and had no direction in life because of my mental health & addiction issues but she gave me hope and we found the right balance that made me feel better that gave me a sense of purpose and direction. Don't get fooloed! She may not come out as a very talkative person but believe you me, she cares a whole lot about your well being and wants to see you succeed. Today I have an excellent career with great salary, benefits and a happy and healthy home environment. Nothing's perfect but to me life is as good as it gets right now with many thanks to her. I only trusted one doctor for my daughter to seek and that was my doctor, Dr. Nafeesa Siddiqui. I wouldn't trust anyone else! My daughter loves her! Every visit she'll tell me something like, "don't screw up your job! You have a good thing going on right now so don't mess up!!! I always take her comments into consideration because she is old school and is very traditional and cared sincerely about her patients and yeah it takes time with her but you will see for yourself how much she cares! Only one way to find out...
