Dr. Bruss is the best in the profession; bedside manners, and caring for his patients. He is an exceptional and excellent physician. I have been under his care for 6+ years and I can’t think of anyone else with his knowledgeability, patience, thoroughness, and dedication for the patients. He treats each patient per their specific case; researches in the areas that make the patient’s case difference than common ones and solves it for a best fitting and most successful approach. I had very complex multi-valve heart disease and also AFib. Dr. Bruss monitored me so closely with timely follow ups to determine when was the right time for me to go through the major surgery that I knew would be necessary at some point in time since several years ago. Thanks to him and of course the outstanding Thoracic surgeon (Dr. Caffarelli), I have very well functioning valves; free of AFib. Dr. Bruss is still doing follow ups with me for treating any minor things as needed. I am very thankful to Dr. Bruss and will be for lifetime.

Absolutely the best! Can work outside the box for solutions and takes each person as an individual not a criteria for treatment Dr Bruss stays informed to give you best options for treatment . I have been with him for decades. It is beyond belief someone would rate him 1 star because of one time situation with staff? I have always found the people there very helpful and kind. (Even if there is a situation where you had to wait). We are all heart patients there, btw.

I was recently referred to Dr. Bruss, MD as a new heart patient. After a nuclear-assisted stress test revealed coronary artery problems this was followed up by an Angiogram at Hoag Hospital. This test indicated that I had major blockages in three coronary arteries. As a result of this test a team of heart surgeons led by Dr. Joyo, MD immediately performed a Triple Bypass Op at Hoag Hospital without delay. Dr. Bruss saved my life with his immediate action resulting in follow-up procedures and kind guidance through one of the most turbulent events of my life. Thank you very much! Kristina M.
