Awesome experience having my Thyroid removed, and the surgery scares are not noticeable.

I saw Dr. Milstead for the first time last week. I found her to be very professional. She was very focused on issues at hand. She ordered a test, instructed me to to use netty pot and take an OTC drug. As I stated, this was my first visit so I do need to see how my issues are handled after the test results come in.

My experience was excellent. I had been diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma a benign tumor in inner ear near ear drum on facial nerve which was effecting my equilibrium. Went to her for advice. I gave her my MRI she read it and then immediately gave me a hearing test and found my hearing was also affected. She then referred me to Shands head of neurosurgery who specializes in this and called him to get me in ASAP. She did her medical training at Shands and knew him to be excellent for this type of problem. So grateful for her compassion and quick action. God bless her.

After years of multiple GP Drs. telling me I had nothing wrong with my sinuses, I finally have relief. It was getting so bad I couldn't breathe out of one side of my nose. Dr. Milstead took one look and said "Book-em" for surgery that is. I can now sleep at night without snoring and waking up 20 times. Saved me from a CPAP machine. One surgery and I was fixed.

I thought she was very thorough. She found the problem with a few tests.

Dr. Milstead performed surgery and removed a growth inside my nose in 2017 that turned out to be cancer. She took excellent care of me and was extremely informative and caring. She took the time to explain what was going on and also made sure I had a referral to Shands afterward. I respect her professionalism and would certainly recommend her to anyone.

I found my self to have skin cancer on my nose. I was referred by a friend to go to ENT in the Villages. So I made an appt. And went in I had got Dr. Madonna and he took care of me and did the surgery to remove the cancer. Dr. Madonna and his staff are Amazing people. He made sure I was doing ok all the way through from the visit to the procedure. Dr. Madonna and his staff I will highly recommend. You just can not ask for better people or service. Thank you all so very much. You are the best.

Dr Milstead has performed surgery on me twice for benign tumors in my pituitary gland. She explained it all to me very thoroughly and never made me feel rushed. For those of you dinging her for insurance reasons, that is something to take up with your insurance company as Dr Milstead has no control over how insurance bills, etc. Should my tumors come back, it will be Dr Milstead who I trust and remain confident in her expert surgical skills.

My dentist sent me to find a oral surgeon as he said I had a spot that needed biopsied. As it turned out there were white spots and they were negative. Dr. Milstead called me on a Saturday as she didn't want me to worry. The biopsy was negative. She is such a caring Doctor and very patient and thoughtful!
