Dr El Rafei is a compassionate and caring psychiatrist. As a patient who takes Clozaril I am confident he is on top of the meds. While a good talker he is not a psycho therapist and I am confident he knows where to draw theliinte.

Dr. Elrafei's professionalism and IMPRESSIVE experience never cease to amaze. I've been going to him for 12 years, and he never stops caring. I've seen some reviews that say his wait time is long... but let me tell you why. He gives each and every patient the time they deserve. He's not one of these doctors that rush you out because he's not making as much money on you versus other patients. Not only that!, he's overbooked because he's so high in demand. He's a straight shooter, and won't give you more medication than you need just for money. He's the psychiatrist that will fit you in last minute if you need him, personally call you back if you need him, and will give you the push you need when you want to drown in meds or sleep. He even has therapists in his office to help give well rounded care. So guess what? I'll wait 2 hours because I know he cares and won't rush me out of his office.
