BEWARE - Unfair billing and lack of communication. No follow up or support. Phone is not answered. Messages are not returned. My recent experience is I called and scheduled an annual physical and they unknowing to me scheduled me for a new patient "interview". When I arrived I sat in the waiting room and then in the examination room for extended amounts of time until Dr Bixler came to the exam room where she started asking me questions including "what hurts", when I told her nothing hurts I am here for my physical, Dr Bixler, realizing my confusion, she then told me that they don't do the physical the first time a patient comes in, they do a new patient visit and then you have to come back for the physical and also you have to run out to other locations to get labs done. Later, they billed me over $350.00 for the short "interview" in their exam room. No one told me I would be billed for this interview. I scheduled preventative care which is fully covered by my insurance. This interview meeting is not fully covered by insurance and I do not feel I should have to pay for it. I did not schedule that. Their procedure should have been explained to me when I scheduled. I have reached out to Dr Bixler's office numerous times to resolve this situation and Vickie, the office manager, or no representative has called me back.
