We are a family of surgeons, and Dr. Gandhi is the doctor's doctor. He also saved my mom's life. Uniformly he is someone who most other doctors go to, because of his clinical acumen and his technical expertise. He caught a very subtle diagnosis in my mother. Being physicians, my parents are very reluctant to undergo the knife, but in this case it was urgently needed. Dr. Gandhi took the time to sit with my parents for hours and convince them to undergo what definitely was a extremely needed surgery. I was not in town, and did not know any of this was happening - I am so grateful he was there to take care of my parents. My parents did not want to worry me, and he maintained upmost confidentiality until I found out on my own and got my mom's permission to talk to him.
He is quiet, but do not let that fool you - his bedside manner is excellent, and he genuinely cares about his patients. He takes time to explain his reasoning, and does not kick you out of the room even after you have been there for half an hour. He runs a very busy practice, So there is a chance you may have to wait a little, but it is well worth it. The message system to get ahold of him or his MA's for nonemergency calls sucks, but that's not his fault - it's Hoag's fault and I hope Hoag improves that.
