My name is Shannon McLachlan. I was a past patient of Dr. Robins from 2014 to 2017. This review, however, is for his staff members. I moved back to GA and was referred to a hematologist for high hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. As one can imagine, I googled my levels and panic began to set in. Dr. Robins had referred me to a hematologist when I lived in Pensacola, and while I usually keep impeccable records of all my dr. visits, I didn't in that case. I couldn't remember the dr.'s name or the diagnosis. I called Dr. Robins' office and spoke to Brittany (?) and another staff member at different times. One of them invited me to sign onto the patient portal via e-mail so that I could gain the information that I was seeking. When that yielded no results, I called back and was told that she would send a message to Dr. Robins' assistant who could possibly give me the name of the hematologist I had seen. Realizing that I am a past patient and that they are most certainly busy with present patients, I said they could call me back tomorrow. Throughout this whole experience, they were courteous and kind to me despite the fact that I'm sure they were very busy with matters pertaining to current patients. I didn't expect a call until the next day. Instead, I received a call within half an hour with the name of the hematologist and the date of service. I was able to call the hematologist's office and spoke to his nurse who gave me the information that I was seeking. Your staff went above and beyond to help an ex-patient. They were so kind and professional. Please pass this along to them with my sincere thanks! They exemplify what customer service, compassion, and kindness is all about.
