Scripps has been kind and helpful to me. I appreciate it very much.

I had to visit this facility due to unfortunate circumstances at the end of September. The front entrance staff, which I think included nurses, took EXCELLENT care of my niece when I had to go back into the ER room area to help my sister. It was a chaotic morning with a ton of tears and those lovely people made sure my niece was not only well taken care of but had breakfast (chocolate because it was close to Halloween of course), a tour of the first floor, a mask, apple juice, lots of opportunities to color then share her drawings, let her show them puppy pictures on their work computers, and she was all grins when I met back up with her. She was so happy I felt bad asking to take her back with me. I couldn’t have asked for a more supportive and trustworthy group of professionals that day and I thank them constantly. The compassion and professionalism they gave us all that day is the best and made a world of difference for us. Thank you again!

I was visiting CA and went in with a suspected UTI, in misery. Was given great care by everyone there, tests were done promptly. Care was taken to make sure I was comfortable, despite many others waiting at the ER.I was given the results in a timely manner, with a very professional explanation.Highly recommend.

I loved their nurses care we just had our new born baby girl today at 1:46 am everyone has been really nice. We loved all the staff working here. I also had a question? If my other half is here showering is their a way that I can take a shower as well. Or just the patients being treated here?

My first time at Scripps Mercy and I will never go back to Scripps La Jolla, what a world of a difference. Went in to the ER by ambulance, first off it started with the EMTS two best guys I could have to pick me up. One named S.Hayes and the other Lofton, they helped keep me calm when I couldn't stop crying because I was scared and I was embarrassed that I was taking up their ambulance space. From there on out all of the staff at Scripps Mercy was very professional I never felt like I was inconveniencing anyone like I've been made to feel at others. The medical team got me into surgery as soon as they could and the post op care was great, the Nurses and Doctors were very professional and very attentive to my needs. I was recommended to come here as I had other choices and I'm glad I did, will definitely recommend to others.

An unexpected heart attack while visiting family here landed me in this hospital. I have received the best possible care from staff and Drs. and can honestly say this is my first hospital visit where I will actually miss the folks who have taken such great care of me. They are knowledgeable and kind. Thank you so much for being here when I needed you. 🥰

I just spent 3 weeks in Mercy Hillcrest hospital on the 5 floor. Believe me I didn't want to be there but if your gonna be anywhere in the world fighting for my life. It would be here. I had a bad infection in my leg, that made my leg look like it didn't belong to me. It cross my mind that I would lose it. This staff put me at ease, treated me like I was family, especially that shift that came in at night. made sure I was comfortable when I wasn'tExplained everything they were doing when I didn't. introduce them selves Everytime they came in the room . The nurses let me know the name of them meds and why I was taking them.The nursing and support staff worked there tail off keeping that place clean. One staff member name Emma which is my mom name(made she rest in Peace) Emma already had a route to do . They took her off her regular duties to come in and clean part my room . I was in a room that held 2 patients . This patient knocked over 2 full urinal. Well Emma thoroughly cleaned that room without cross contaminate my side them change uniforms and came back clean my side!. I was impressed and humble that she did that it reminded me of my mother. After that night she always came by before she went home to see how I was doing.I will never forget that as long as I breathe.I what to thank Matilde Lobo Irmur/ Elizabeth/Lana/Pamela /Nora /Xayier for looking out for men to and giving me a positive message even when I was feeling sorry for myself.Big thank you Kichen staff. I want 5 th floor I'm walking now, off the pain meds.I will be never forget what that staff did for me..

I recently moved to San Diego and this was my first visit to the Scribbs Mercy Hospital Emergency Department. My first experience with this ER was very pleasant. Very friend door staff who greeted me with a smile and gave excellent directions on what to do next. Registration was a breeze and again very friendly receptionist staff. My wait in the waiting room was around an hour on a Friday evening so no complains there. If I had come on hour later that would of been a different story but it’s an emergency department after all and you will have to wait no matter what. My nurse was very friendly and so was the MD who treated me with the upmost respect and understood my complains and pain I had. My procedure didn’t took but 10 minutes and the MD did an excellent job working on me. All went above and beyond and I’m know was was in good hands. All together I spend 2 hrs or less at the ER. If I could give this hospital a 10 star rating I definitely would. Thank you for taking such good care of me. Definitely recommend this hospital to anyone. :) :) :) :) :)

They were very helpful and comforting as I was coming back from a very bad seizure and was quite disorientated. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors and staff that helped me and all the other patients that you help.

We are from Texas. My Husband became sick here. From the EMS, Police, Security, Nurse Aides, Nurse, Doctors, Neurosurgeon ect…. I am forever grateful. You helped me and my husband survive a horrible trial. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I had to do all the things he normally does. Kind words & hugs. Helped get thru the day! Thank you all!
