My stay has been overwhelmed but staff has went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I would high recommend select. The staff here is very caring. I have been treated well.

I highly recommend select specialty hospital in Gainesville Florida. I came here to recover from the effects of Covid 19. I have very few complaints about this place. The nurses and CNA‘s are some of the nicest people you ever wanna meet. They are helpful and kind. Respiratory has some really great people too, and so does OT/PT. I couldn’t possibly name all the people who have made an impact on my recovery and in life. Like the girl who washed my hair after 2 months(Katie), or the one who came to help a nurse help sit me up in bed. I could go on and on. Bridgette, Mandy, Robert, Darryl, Robin, Teresa, Mary, Lara, Rueben, Ian…. Oh I wish I could remember everyones name! They are exemplary in their field, they do their job well. I don’t like the doctor rotation, which is changing every week. I like a doctor to get to know me and vice versa. I would definitely recommend SSH, they really are the best!

The care my husband has received has been amazing. The staff has been excellent and one CNA in particular is Eloise. She is kind and caring. I would recommend Select to anyone. The physical therapists are patient and motivating. Wound care is detail oriented. Becky Bussard

Select administration cares about patient input and concerns. I believe that people make the difference! Select has wonderful nurses, therapists and CNAs. Everyone has been wonderful to me; but there have been some super special people on my journey that I am so grateful to have had care for me… The CNAs Mark, Yasmine, and Eloise go above and beyond and always have a genuine concern for the patients with a “can do” attitude and always encouraging. Dan and Darryl are Respiratory Therapists that made the biggest difference in my recovery. I will be forever grateful for the education that Dan so enthusiastically shared with me. It is so difficult to pick only one nurse that stands out, because there have been so many REAL good nurses; but Sam deserves an award of some kind!! She is tops!! She teaches, she keeps you informed, and she encourages you to keep goals for the day and for the week. I’m thankful for her care. I want to take a moment to also mention a therapist that made a difference for me… I have no doubt that it was Lara’s commitment and encouragement to my physical strengthening that made a huge difference in my recovery. I am thankful to all the Select staff; because at the end of the day, it’s people who heal people and it’s people that make the difference.

My stay has been very.communicable. The c n. a and nurses have gone above andbeyond. With the required things. I couldn't ask for better treatment or people. Eliouse , Cheryl. Alex, and Melissa took the extra mile to check on me more . I would recommend this hospital to my family and friends.

My stay here at the hospital has been excellent , Everybody has been very good, polite, and helpful to me. I hope you never have to come to the hospital but if you do I will recommend this hospital to anyone they are great people and nice.

My stay here has been very satisfying. The nurses & CNA’s are very attentive. One CNA in particular, Eliouse, has been very helpful & attentive to my needs and requests. Ruben, the OT has been a big help as far as getting my strength back. Wound care has been very attentive to my wounds and I’m very happy with this facility!

My stay here was wonderful. The staff loved me and I loved them. The staff have left a wonderful footprint on my heart. I hate to go but I have to go to my next destination. Anybody I see I would recommend this hospital to them.
