My younger sister lived at SugarMill Point, due to early-onset dementia, until she passed. This was the biggest blessing for both my sister and our family. She was not only well taken care of and safe, but she also enjoyed the myriad of activities and her newfound friendships. The facility is clean and home-like. Her apartment was filled with her favorite stuff, and roomy enough for her. The staff was always available for her, checked on her often, and I believe gave her a very enjoyable life. The staff really cared and went above and beyond. Special call out to Amanda, for all the times she was available to hold her hand in times of uncertainty, to keep the Suites running smoothly with staff, activities, menus, etc. They have a nurse on staff full time. The place even smells great. Also, a call out to Lillian, my sister's daytime caretaker for the shoulder rubs, hugs, and special loving care. To the activity director for awesome inclusiveness, and for making my sister feel valued. To Tina for encouraging singing and joy. I would recommend SugarMill Point to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and interesting home for your loved one.
