The Claiborne at Shoe Creek

Leslie Denino provided an excellent tour and in-depth overview of what the Claiborne has to offer its tenants. Our family was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, its friendly staff and the ability to customize a wide range of services to fit each individual's needs.

My mom requires assisted living which is quite unnerving. Having prayed a lot we set about trying to locate a facility that we could trust. Leslie, Goldie, Mrs. Cara and Mrs. Stacy alleviated all of our concerns but more specifically showed us what an assisted living facility should be like. All of our anxiety and fears were crushed when we saw how awesome the staff is. I visited a number of facilities before settling on the Claiborne. They are an answer to our prayers and for the first time in a long time we finally have peace knowing that my mom is being taken care of. I can’t say enough about the staff and their sincere care for the residents. Truly blessed that the Lord put them in our path. Definitely trustworthy, honest and caring folks associated with this retirement center. They treat everyone with the respect and care that only a family member can provide. We love you guys and appreciate everything that you all do for us and our mom.

Wonderful staff, brand new facility, and a “feels-like-home” environment.It is a difficult decision to move a loved one out of their home and into a care facility. We made this decision nervously as it became apparent my grandmother needed professional care. After researching area facilities, we happened upon a new and beautiful place right here in Central! Once my mother and aunt began the process of getting my grandmother’s details lined out and then us actually moving her into The Claiborne, all our previous nervousness vanished. Every expectation was met and then some. The staff has been overly helpful and accommodating. There are so many activities and entertainment options for the residents, which is especially nice for folks like my grandmother who are always on the move! Food service looks wonderful with different options every night prepared by the chef. Visitation has been easy and safe for all residents as guidelines for COVID-19 have been anything but constant over the last year. The staff has adapted and kept family accessible to the best of their abilities. I would strongly recommend The Claiborne for anyone looking for a member of their family.

My late brother was only at The Claiborne for a week before he passed, but he was very happy with his living arrangements and how pleasant and easy to work with the staff was. My SIL is there and she appears to be well taken care of. I love all the activities for the residents. I can’t imagine a better place for anyone who can no longer live on their own for whatever the reason.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about how much we love The Claiborne! Every person there treats my mama like she’s one of their own family members. Deciding it’s time to help a parent get the care he/she needs is deeply emotional, and finding just the right place is challenging. Every step of this journey has been made easier for our family by Leslie, Ms. Goldie, and Tessa as well as the caregivers in the Memory Care wing. The front desk staff welcomes us every time we come in. Mr. Jody goes above the call of duty to help us with maintenance issues. Kara is planning all sorts of wonderful activities for the residents. It feels scary at first to trust other people with your loved one, but I can truly say I rest better at night knowing Mama is safe. Do not be surprised if the transition is difficult for a loved one who has dementia or Alzheimer’s. You must know, though, that at the Claiborne you will have a team of people helping you as you get your loved one settled in!

We are very impressed with The Claiborne and their staff. Everyone is polite and helpful and most importantly my in laws love their new home. They are actually independent but decided to move in before they ‘had’ to make the move. The activities director gives them lots of fun things to do and they love the food!

My husband and I were the first residents that found our forever home at the Claiborne at Shoe Creek. We are still very independent except for a couple of physical problems. We wanted to make a move before we were not physically able to do so. This was tbe best decision we have ever made. The staff here are wonderful. We attend all of the activities offered unless we are at an appointment. We have a wonderful Chef, activity director, housekeeper, nursing staff and our new Claiborne Director has made some very nice changes and is aware of all resident needs. We love our community and are truly happy and content with our new home. If we have a need we only have to ask. If any of you out there are on the fence about making a move to an assisted living facility please come take a tour. You will be glad you did. Thanks for taking the time to read this review. This place is wonderful. Will visiting there the staff was very friendly and informative. Will definitely keep this place in mind while making the decision to move my aunt. She loved the place.

This is a beautiful place ! Staff is friendly and accommodating
