I took my 2-month-old daughter to see Dr. Kim to get her severe tongue tie evaluated and possibly clipped. Was hugely impressed by the whole operation. Easy online paperwork (better than having to fill it out in person), no wait at the office, and then Dr. Kim was incredibly thorough and thoughtful, in the questions she asked and the explanations she offered. We never felt pushed to do anything; Dr Kim just laid out all the facts in front of us and talked us through our options. When we decided to get the clipping done, Dr Kim and her staff moved with incredible speed and care. We were really dreading this procedure but are so glad we went through with it, and at this practice specifically! Highly recommend!

Great ENT! Immediately diagnosed my issue and was glad to answer all my questions. She made sure to clarify any details of my surgery and helped me feel comfortable about getting it. During my recovery, she called me back quickly to address my concerns.

Our 6 day old baby had a tight frenulum (tongue tie) and our pediatrician recommended we go to Dr Kim. We are so happy that we did!From setting up the initial appt, her office was so easy to work with. They send you all the paperwork in advance (electronically), so you just walk right in and don't have to spend ages filling out forms on clip boards.Dr Kim had us in and out of the office within 15min. She looked at our babies tongue and explained to us what would happen, and made sure we were comfortable with the procedure. She then had us leave the room, and within 4 minutes our baby was already asleep and had a fixed tongue!It was such a pleasant experience working with Dr. Kim. Would highly recommend her to any parents (or really anyone). She is professional, kind, and makes you feel at ease. Oh, and there is parking directly in the building which is a huge plus!

My son has been having chronic ear infections and seeing Dr. Kim since he was three. He is now six, and Dr. Kim has been amazing every step of the way. Despite ear pain and several ear tube surgeries, he is always excited to see his ENT... how many doctors can you say that about? At every appointment he has her undivided attention and she speaks more to him than to me - he knows she's taking him seriously, and it's fantastic - it's taken any drama or fear out of what has otherwise been a miserable experience for my little guy. Thank you, Dr. Kim, you're wonderful!

Dr. Kim recently performed an adenoidectomy on my young daughter at CPMC (the new Van Ness campus) and we had a fantastic experience. Dr. Kim had a great demeanor with my daughter -- calm, warm, engaging, talking to her about things she's interested in, etc. The surgery itself was quite fast and my daughter bounced back remarkably quickly, which I attribute to Dr. Kim, the anesthesiologist, and the great nurses at CPMC. I highly recommend Dr. Kim.

Wow ... I just skimmed through some of the other reviews for Dr. Theresa Kim and, frankly, I cannot believe what I read in many of them. It really makes me wonder who is writing these things. Well, maybe they are all legitimate and some other people have had awful experiences with visits to Dr. Kim.I, on the other hand, have not. Dr. Kim is -- by far -- one of the best doctors I have ever seen in my entire life. For four months, I've had what I originally thought was just a persistent sore throat. After a month or two, it seemed obvious that it was more than just a persistent sore throat. My own PCP's practice did what they could in trying to diagnose this but not all of the symptoms had presented themselves during the two visits I made to them. Ultimately, I asked to be referred to an ENT specialist.I have a strict policy of only going to female doctors. So of course that limits my ability to get an appointment at a moment's notice. Dr. Kim is apparently in very high demand and it took about 10 days before I could see her. It was totally worth the wait. In the 15 minutes that I was in her office, she diagnosed some form of lesions that required some meds to eliminate. This was probably not by far the most complicated condition or symptoms that Dr. Kim has ever had to figure out. But she prescribed something that did in fact substantially reduce the lesions as predicted. And during a follow-up visit, we discussed other strategies for keeping tabs on this in the event that they flare up again. So I already know that she has a strategy in place in the event that this reoccurs.I think Dr. Kim may be the most professional doctor I have ever visited. I can't imagine what other people have seemingly experienced based on some of the reviews I've read. I wish every one of my doctors was as professional and to-the-point as Dr. Kim. Oh, by the way, all of the staff in her office are exceedingly professional, courteous, nice, etc. It's hard to imagine that anyone has ever had a problem with charges, payment or anything else. Anyhow ... I would say that Dr. Kim is what I would call a "sure bet". It's hard to imagine wanting to go to a doctor who is less professional and effective than her.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Kim after repeated strep infections. She was kind, smart, thoughtful and very good with my daughter. We ended up removing her tonsils and Dr. Kim did a great job. She will definitely be our family "go to" if we need an ENT in the future.

Dr Kim restored my sense of smell after years of battling polyps and sinusitis. Very littlefollow-up treatment is required. Five stars and well-earned.
