Fantastic bedside manner and highly informative.
Thanks for having my kids tested and giving them the meds that they need for their allergies. Y'all are the best 💪
After years of suffering from eczema and extreme allergies, I finally feel like myself again. I was put on a very manageable plan and it changed my life. I no longer get sick multiple times a year and my skin has cleared up drastically. Not to mention, Dr. Nguyen and his team are so gentle and kind. I highly recommend!
I'm sorry to leave a one star review because Dr. Nguyen is a nice guy. But after multiple visits and numerous medication prescriptions, my allergies kept getting worse and worse. Dr. Nguyen kept telling me asthma was the cause for my allergies and that he wanted to treat my lungs before treating my allergies which was a bigger concern. But my lung capacity had nothing to do with what was causing my allergies. Dr. Nguyen kept telling me to take higher and higher doses of multiple steroids and antihistamines and I didn't understand why my symptoms were getting worse rather than better. It took self trial and error to discover I was allergic to allergy medicine itself - cetrizine and loratadine for sure. When I told Dr. Nguyen I think think this might be the cause, he gaslit me and told me that it was unlikely if not impossible when I know my own body. All I wanted was to get allergy shots to better live with my cat but even with multiple visits, I never got the treatment I wanted or the acknowledgment for my own health concerns. Even my PCP said that he should have just given me allergy shots to alleviate my symptoms rather than focusing on (for whatever reason) treating my lungs which were entirely irrelevant to the issue I was having. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend him in good conscience given my experience. Edit and response to Texas Allergy Groups Allegations: It is wholly and completely inaccurate that I did not take my prescriptions for, if I were not taking the multiple medications prescribed to me, I would not continue to have adverse side effects. Nor was I ever belligerent to any staff member. That simply isn’t who I am and to accuse me of such behavior is an act of libel for which, quite honestly, I could sue the practice for as well as malpractice for further aggravating my condition. Apparently, it is not only a practice at this clinic to fail to resolve clients issues but also to respond completely unprofessionally, assert baseless accusations, and claim the patient is the problem. I simply cannot believe this was their response. I have been to multiple doctors in my years but NEVER has a provider treated my complaints with such discourteous, baseless, and unprofessional manner. A simple sorry and we promise to do better would have sufficed, but they would rather fabricate falsehoods and shift blame? If anyone needs further proof as to why Texas Allergy Group is not a proper treatment center, please do see their response to my review and draw your own conclusions.
Simply the best. They will diagnose, treat, explain, and remind you of your appointments. Even if you miss, they get you back on track.
I'm a big fan of Dr. Nguyen and Texas Allergy Group. This is a doctor who listens and takes time to understand the patient's situation. All the attending staff are terrific; consistently helpful.
I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen's for several years, ever since I developed very severe asthma and allergic reactions. No one knew what was wrong, and I ended up at Texas Allergy completely by chance. Dr. Nguyen truly listened to me, took my situation seriously, and correctly treated my problem (since confirmed by several other doctors in the medical center). He listens to his patients, cares about them, and will put his all into helping them get better. His staff are all very nice and extremely helpful, and they have always confirmed the cost of anything *before* they do it. I quite literally would not be alive without him.
I am a very fair person and take a lot in consideration, I normally don't complain but I can't let these people continue to cheat people. My wife and I had a scheduled appointment and we were there for over 3 hours. Some of the observations we had were that patients don't really have any privacy, shots being administered in front of other people in the waiting area, we sat in the back room for hours, while the staff and Doctor would pop in and out, seems they really push for everyone to take to take the asthma test which is and additional charge. He said my wife seemed to have asthma based off the puff test and highly recommended she test. He requested I do the same however, I've never in my life been diagnosed with asthma so I declined. Our second visit there for the allergy testing was pretty much the same as our first visit with the same observations. During this visit once again Dr. Nguyen wanted to do further testing which called for another appointment. Since we required another appointment, I decided to go through my insurance because my wife's insurance has a high CoPay. During the first visit, I asked them if they took my insurance and the staff said that they will ask and give me a call back, I waited a few weeks and asked again during our second visit and they still would not have the answer. It took over a month before I would get a response, after several phone calls to them and my insurance calling them with all the proper authorizations. Not to go into too many details, I was told that we would still have to pay the deductible which was very high for what we were needing done. I told them that my insurance doesn't have a deductible and they told me that the Manager of billing (Dr. Nguyen's wife) did not want to process the paperwork for my insurance unless we paid the deductible. I called my insurance to verify this and they said that was incorrect. I tried to speak to the manager and was told that they did not want call me or talk to me about it and this was coming from her staff...This is not how to do business or treat patients. This place is a rip off, want to charge you for things you don't need, and doesn't care to help their patients our fairly. I will no longer go there and will restart this whole process somewhere else where I feel we will get treated honestly and fairly.
I took my daughter in for an eczema visit and we were seen promptly. The staff was very courteous. Dr. Nguyen was very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained and educated us in great details of her condition. Her eczema has greatly improved ever since she has been under Dr. Nguyen’s care.
Dr. Nguyen and his staff have been nothing but wonderful since I've started coming to this office last year. I'm surprised at the negative reviews because my experience has been exceptional both with the doctor and nurses. Since coming weekly for treatment and following the doctor's orders, I've seen drastic improvement in symptoms. This allergy season has been so much more manageable. Dr. Nguyen is caring and personable. I could tell he cares a lot about his patients and actually listens. The staff remembers me by name and is attentive. Couldn't really ask for more than that, especially with the way a lot of doctor's offices are run nowadays. I would highly recommend this office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
