List of Arizona Eye Specialists's Reviews
This office is very good at communicating with patients and appointments. I've never waited more then 10 minutes for my appointments. I saw Dr .Elliott Janousek and he exceeded my expectations from his mannerisms to hills professionalism was better then any other eye centers I've been too. He took the time to clearly explain so many things that were never explained to me previously and answered all of my questions He was very pleasant and straight forward. I left the office feeling understand and confident in my care plan.
I am really impressed with Az Eye Specialist office staff. I really enjoyed talking to Nicki and Glenna. They were very helpful with all my questions. I unfortunately didn't get the name of the doctor's assistant, but she'll remember me because we both like mint chocolate chip ice cream. Dr Janousek who is always pleasant and answers all my questions. I received a call from Glenna, who helped me with my contacts order, she let me know that my contacts will be delayed. I have an unusual prescription. I never had service like that with my prior optometrist office. Thank you, ladies. Gina G.

I have been trying to schedule an appointment. I can't seem to get through makes me wonder that you all are too busy. I was trying to stay on hold until you all gave me no choice but to leave a message which does not work for me. You all don't even try to get ahold of people when their doctors referee them to you
Called them, their phone system sucks. Let them know I was running late, 10 mins. They told that it was too late. I showed up and they turned me away. I understand 10 mins late is not okay, but seriously!?! Dr offices make you wait like 20 mins in a pt room to be seen. I could see them whispering about me, rude af.
The staff here cannot be bothered with answering the telephone. When I got a callback the following day, I was cut off when explaining why I called, told that "everything is on the website", and hung up on! Why anybody would go to this business, I have no idea! The website LACKS / OMITS the following CRITICAL information: -What services are offered at each location? -Which doctor is at each location? If a doctor splits time between locations, then state that Doctor X is at location 4 on Mondays and at location 10 Tuesday - Thursday. Put this in the doctor's profile AND in the location detail. -The YEAR for each step of education! How is that not available? -Don't be lazy. Actually bother to spell out the names of the schools attended. Your phone mail hell, coupled with failure to answer the phone is a major customer service flaw that can be immediately remedied, if desired. Turn your ringer on!! Then, simply stating, "Arizona Eye Specialists on (street and city), Humpty Dumpty speaking. I'm with a patient; may I place you on hold?" is better than ignoring your phone.
I went to this office one time since my eye doctor for many years has retired. I was hoping to find a doctor of similar quality. I did not find what I was looking for in this office. The office staff were polite but made me come in for the exam twice. The second exam was almost a repeat of the first, but resulted in two bills to the insurance and more out of pocket for me. Most of the exam itself was conducted by a medical assistant who appeared to be somewhat incompetent with the equipment. Time with the doctor was very limited and not particularly personable. I will need to continue my search as I will not be returning to this office.
I had a wonderful experience at my recent visit to the optometrist. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and attentive to my needs. I have had difficulty for years getting the correct prescription for my multi focal contacts. Dr. Janousek went out his way when every other Dr has told me it was just my eyes. My eyesight is now perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend this optometrist and their dedicated team to anyone seeking eye care services. Thank you for your exceptional care!
Awesome service from check in to technical Assistance to Dr. Sarah very caring and patient with you explaining all details.I would recommend there service to others
Would not recommend. Messed up my prescription. Instead of owning up to the mistake and correcting it, the Dr said my prescription (the one he gave me) is right but I'm not used to it being blurry because my previous prescription is stronger. Makes no sense to me why having blurry vision with glasses on is correct. I think it's important to be able to see clearly especially when driving or when your job requires precise details. After this second visit I left with my second prescription. When I went to reorder glasses for the second time there was another mistake in the prescription. The cyl number was not on there. Called to talk to the tech to clarify what that number should be. She emailed me my prescription and it was completely different from the one I got during my second visit. Hopefully the new Rx is correct. Definitely won't be going back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
