Love the estheticians but the business gets an F. High pressure sales and not fulfilling their contract once you sign. There are several Lilly Beauty spas around San Diego county with the same owner. Research before you fall into the trap after their introductory facials.
Got sold a VIP package from the La Jolla location. Shortly after that the person who signed me up left and allegedly she was the only person who knew how to do the specific facial treatment I signed up for. It was very difficult to set up appointments to do other services and now the location is closed--with no notice to me and I have finally found the corporate office but still can not get any written info on how/if they will honor my VIP payment. I try not to think poorly of the group but fear I got scammed!
As of today, July 23rd, 2024 I'm pretty sure this location has closed. Eli, the manager was horrible at responding to customers about complaints. The owner, Paul, shows up accordingly to visit and check on things and Eli was hired to be the face of it. I don't see the point of hiring a manager who is incompetent and unresponsive. I was scammed out of thousands of dollars worth of money and luckily, I was able to get a small amount back through the bank. The facial ladies are amazing at their jobs, the whole company is just disappointingly a scam. I would never visit any of their locations ever again. I'm pretty sure Eli still works at other San Diego locations.
This place is horrible! You get different quality of service depends on the esthetician that see you! Their body sculpt machine is always broken and if it is working, they rush doing the procedure! I left messages to talk to the manager to cancel my subscription and until now no one has call me back. The Coronado branch closed in March and they insisted that I go to La Jolla branch which is too far from where I live! Please be careful agreeing to any procedure from this spa, they are professional scammers!!!!
Soooooo disappointing service!!! This business is not honest, not honorable with no integrity. I made an appointment and the day before they sent me a confirmation text which I replied saying Yes per their instruction. The morning I had an appointment, they called me that I need to reschedule since I canceled the appointment which I never did. I even told her about the confirmation text and she couldn't really respond (no wonder she can't respond!) and kept saying I canceled it and they already booked someone. If they made a mistake, they better own it and apologize and without any proof or explanation they just kept saying I canceled so they booked someone and it's all my fault. Really?!
I went here on a $59.99 promotion facial. I was greeted when walked in by a friendly receptionist. I sat down with really nice gentleman his name is Sahas. We had a pleasant conversation and he asked if I was interest in different treatments for face/neck. He advised me of different skin care procedures. Showed me pictures of previous clients. He started explaining the treatments available. But, I do know everything cost money. My antennas went up and knew that this was upsell procedures. That's how they make their money. At my age I'm not 100% sure how this aging works with the skin, but starting to notice certain things that could use a little uplift, but maintaining a natural beauty look. I then was introduced to my esthetician. She was absolutely fabulous. She used fancy tools specific to my needs and and described each treatment she was giving me and explained why and how it was going to be applied. She did recommend and suggest the best treatment for any future visits that I may be interested in based on my facial. She was knowledgeable, very respectful, and fabulous at her job. Great service with a fabulous facial treatment. By the way my skin looks fabulous. I'm very happy with the outcome. My facial ended and I finished with Sahas. He educated on different treatments and threw in different incentive packages for my skin treatments and threw in extra bonus gifts. But I was not interested in spending money at that time, possibly in the future. I was thankful for his services and willing to pay for the promotional facial of $59.99 promotion and give my aesthetician $20 tip. I did not purchase any more treatments. But, I do know if they continue having facial promotions $59.99, I will book on a regular bases. Overall, my experience was great. The customer service with every person I spoke was friendly, polite and respectful. It was a great experience and I was so satisfied with the customer service. Please note, They do upsell you and respectfully that is how they make their money. Be prepared nice things do cost money. Nothing is free in the world we live in today. Remember money makes the world go round. That is business. Happy Customer Laura
I went here for one of the beauty treatments. It was a great experience. The esthetician, Sarah, was wonderful!
Yes, they lure you in for a special and sweet talk you into buying their package. I did buy it but decided to cancel it. They refused to cancel the package, do not return my calls for months. When I called them to resume my package, that's when they called me back. Anyways, most of the estheticians were nice , its the management that's defective. There was no plan of treatment for you nor a follow up. You just go there, do the treatment ( same treatment for the whole package) and leave. They don't even check if you made an improvement or not. They only care for your money! So ladies, beware!!
Originally, half way through my "treatment" I posted a dissatisfaction review. I was frustrated with my progress and the lack of professionalism with this location and its staff.. (see continued post)
Originally, half way through my "treatment" I posted a dissatisfaction review. I was frustrated with my progress and the lack of professionalism with this location and its staff.. Later I decided to take it down bc I was encouraged and reassured that things would get better. Well they didn't. In fact, on the day that I thought was to be my last appointment, one of their unprofessional employees called me minutes before my appointment to which I was just blocks away in motion and said to me "your last prior visit was your last treatment. Therefore we are canceling this appointment until we hear from Eli." I was flabbergasted. I told her why then did the girl set this appointment up for me? And why hasn't anyone looked into this before I drove all the way from El Cajon, where I live to verify and not make me drive all the way out there for nothing? I said I will be expecting a phone call back from Eli, the "manager".But this is typical for this staff's protocal. I had been called several times to cancel and reschedule my appointment bc they had no other clients scheduled and didn't feel they should stay open for 1 patient!! Needless to say no one called me back. This was in June 2023 .I left several msg's to no avail. Since then I have fallen into a depression. When I first entered a contract, I saw zero results in weightloss . The goal was to remove 40lbs of belly fat. Eli and his accomplis, Paul, had me sign up again with a new contract! Stating that results come with both treatments. They were soo nice and all over me asuring me that I wil be happy with the results. In the end I reluctantly did. I got the laser lipo / cavitation, but through corortion. They played with my emotions. With promises of grand results. I felt the presure by them and they kept telling me it's now or never. I SHOULD HAVE WALKED AWAY! Especiall, since I told them I couldn't afford to spend any more money. I said I could only afford $130 a month,(I'm still paying for the 1st treatments), well Paul got on the phone with Syncrony Bank not me, and approved $190 a month. When I told him NO, he saidĝ it's too late. We cannot reverse it. He said I will be happy with the results, "you'll see". "I will be here to make sure. Just be sure to drink your water" $5,000 dollars later and 8 treatments NOTHING. No weight loss no nothing. In fact they didn't even measure my stomach until I mentioned it. "Shouldn't someone keep track?? They were also never around. I can't express how much I regret walking through those doors. THIS SHOULD BE A WARNING TO EVERYONE ⚠️ Do not be fooled by these wolves in sheep's clothing. I'm angry. I'm depressed. This depression is killing me. think about my experience everyday. I'm sad and angry. Don't be fooled when they tell you you're getting a big discount. I learned that they inflate the price to make it seem like your discount is special. Cause it's not. I'm stuck with a $5,000 bill I can't really afford. I make my monthly payments but the bank keeps calling me and saying it's not enough. Well I can't afford the agreement Paul set me up with! I keep showing up to their offices and no one is ever there. Their doors are padlocks. The sign says M-F 9 to 5pm. The people next door say they are only there part of the time. They won't return my calls. Lilly Beauty never made any attempt to see how my progress was going. I guess when you're done, you're done and thats it.No measuring. No consultation. Eli and Paul just sign you up and that is the last time you see them. I contacted THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU about Lilly Beauty and its practices. I will share with them my phone log and msg recordings they have sent me in the begining. I will be making a former complaint to them to warn those who fall victim to their SCAMS if you are a lawyer and think you can help me, contact me through their offices. Tell them to call me! Happy New Year my eye.
