Dr. Lee is treating me for an esophageal stricture that has made it to where I can not eat solid food. He is very nice and talks to you before and after a procedure in a way you can understand. He is a great doctor and I feel very comfortable with him. I highly recommend Dr. Lee!

We are very fortunate to have Dr. Lee practicing in Orange County. He is a gifted Dr. and excellent communicator.
Dr. John Lee, Do you always wash your hands before you do a resection of a polyp? Do you pass germs from one patient to the next?

I saw Dr Lee this morning at UCI for an endoscopic procedure. He was very gentle and kind (I was very stressed) and patiently answered my questions.

First of all, I never got to see the doctor so I can only rate his staffs and the people who work at UCI medical center. Ive been trying to setup an appointment because my primary doctor referred to this specialist. Its been 4+ weeks, and Im finally giving up on seeing him. Every time I call to setup an appointment, (usually 30 mins waiting), the person tells me that someone would call me in 2~3 days. They never do. Its very very frustrating. I dont care how good the doctor is. If I cannot see him, then hes no good for me.
Great technically. Wonderful explanation of the procedure. Before seeking out Dr. Lee (he is outofnetwork), I had had an aborted ERCP (due to stomach blockage I had mentioned to him) for an inflamed bile duct with no other symptoms. The first physician did not listen at all and assumed I needed an ERCP with a stint After the aborted procedure, I had Dr. Lee recommended by 4 people so I sought him out. He did an endoscopic ultrasound before doing the ERCP, found that the bile duct had shrunk, saw no reason for ERCP and this whole ordeal was over. I would highly recommend Dr. Lee.
