Excellent staff and wait times.

Easy place to find great staff the lady he does the lab work. She’s very gentle easy to draw blood and she doesn’t leave. No bruising specially when you’re diabetic, she makes you feel very comfortable.

My CT scan was done by Julia. She explained everything in the sequence it was going to happen and I was treated with care and respect. contrast was injected intravenously, she was vey proficient preparing site of IV. The experience was very positive, equipment was Siemens Healthineers with latest CT scanner technology. Results came on Monday and my test was late on Friday. Sarasota Memorial Hospital has excellent health care, clean pristine facilities and top doctors and staff. I know I’m in good hands.

Finally ! A medical office / provider / service / etc where not only was I treated kindly and efficiently but with respect and met with genuine friendliness - something I thought ( at this point ) had totally disappeared from the medical field . I cannot speak highly enough of literally every single person I encountered at this facility - from the wonderful ladies at the front desk( I wish I had gotten their names ! ) I mean they smiled 😊and it was clear to see they enjoyed their jobs for the manner in which all the patients were cared for , as if they knew each one personally and with a caring attitude that I’ve rarely seen . And , too, my mri tech , Karen, - who talked me through a scary brain mri with patience and thoughtfulness for my well being at all times . The facility itself was immaculate . Not only was I able ( astonishingly so ) to obtain this mri appointment the day prior ( whereas every other facility I tried had a long wait despite serious symptoms and 2 trips to the er in a week ) , but once there , I was taken in without any wait time ( other than to complete a little bit of paperwork ) . It was quickly obvious that I was very much in the “right place “ no matter what the ultimate outcome of my test will be . This facility and its employees, it’s practices and procedures should be the standard everywhere and it would behoove most every other facility in manatee /Sarasota and pretty much everywhere I’ve been in Florida - to use this particular facility as a prime example of just how things are supposed to be done and how patients are to be treated . I write this and feel this with an unfortunate amount of experience having health with way more medical institutions and providers ( especially in the past two years ) then I would wish on my worst enemy . I have always believed and acted upon the concept that while one should always be able to “ complain “ about poor service , treatment , etc - in every area of life , and should do so in a civilized and professional manner - similarly , one should never miss the opportunity to also note and thank those who clearly go above and beyond in their role and position . That is what I hope my review does . who Thank you again for your help and kindness .

Fast efficient and caring staff

Went there for bloodwork. I didn’t wait long. The nurse that took my blood was very professional and very at her job.

As always SMH Care Center at Heritage was flawless. From check in to leaving out the front door. Prompt and professional. I will use now other Urgent care. Thank you SMH!

Way overpriced. A simple strep test was over $100 out of pocket after medical insurance coverage of a few hundred. It’s a racket.

Made appointment for a CT scan After long wait , operator told me to fast 4 hours before after telling her the md order on phone Got to appointment and reception said I didn’t have to fast for procedure on md order. Also since scan is so noisy , I asked for headset and spa music which was great but horrible commercials calms on. I was told that the head of clinic wouldn’t spend the extra money for commercial feee music . I would think that given the huge cost , commercial fee and happy patients would be worth a few extra dollars
