My husband and I went to the Temple Terrace location. We were overcharged, and when our insurance called to correct it, we were told (rudely) it would take at least 45 days to process. The office charged us without verifying benefits. We are still trying to get our refund back, weeks later. The office is hard to get through to, and when you call, you get a different story each time.
Julissa m the receptionist who answered my call was very rude and over talked me the entire conversation did a horrible job at providing front office service. I can almost bet she still doesn’t know what my issue was. When dealing with people’s health you would expect some sort of compassion but the entire healthcare system has gone to h3ll
The whole staff is beyond awesome at Countryside ! Shout out to the front desk receptionists. They work the waiting room so efficiently. Knowing every sign-in and what is needed. They address everyone with kindness, professionalism, humor and personalized assistance. They also communicate with each so well to keep everything going smoothly before seeing the doctors , assistants and PA's , etc. Well done ! Julie Leis Krause
I stopped going to Academic Alliance because the office staff does not care. long holds, voice mail messages that never get returned. Ridiculous. I suggest they clean house hire people who want to work.
❤️❤️the Plant City office. I have always been treated with compassion and kindness. Keisha knows exactly what she is doing and that makes me feel safe. She and Christine are a great team!!! They explain everything they observe. Thank you for coming back to the office to see me on Monday. I don’t know many healthcare providers who would do this. I felt special and a lot less “itchy “.
I'm sick of people getting screwed over by these corporations, dont go here, it was not good at all. Had to wait 40 minutes over my scheduled appointment time. Then she brought in a few trainees without telling me, sitting there half naked treating me like a training dummie... They should have paid me for the appointment, and my time waiting in the lobby. Show up on time for God sakes you're supposed to be a professional. I ended up getting another bill a month later saying the $60 co-pay was actually the appointment fee and I owed another $60 more when the receptionist said I was square. Straight screwed me over, no if and or buts. Won't be back.
I drove over an hour for Dr Sable only for him to take 30 seconds. I was furious to say the least.TWO HOURS to get home. The visit to his office was a waste of my time. I intend on disputing my insurance to even give him a penny! His goal is money plain and simple. I truly feel today’s appointment was unnecessary. Nothing was accomplished except to anger me, waste my time and money. I run a small business and had to close for the day to make this appointment only for him to take 30seconds to look at something he called a clogged oil gland. In fact they even had my insurance company on the phone but DR wanted to go home. This Doctor made me feel unimportant, and i felt like i was seen as a paycheck and not a patient. I’ve never felt so taken advantage of. He billed 10x what my business lost today for his lousy 30 seconds. i feel he is extremely unethical.
This place is so bias!! Stay away.
Recently, I encountered a distressing situation when I experienced a severe case of perioral dermatitis for the first time. Following my initial appointment, during which I was prescribed an oral antibiotic and advised against steroid usage due to triggering effects. The condition worsened over the weekend, causing considerable pain and discomfort. In a state of desperation on Monday morning, I reached out seeking support for additional prescriptions, such as a topical, to provide relief. A message was left and I was advised of a 24 to 48 hour protocol. Later in the day, out of desperation I called again to indicate the urgency of relief needed and my was message was upgraded as a priority. I did not receive a call back that day. The following day, I called again first thing in the morning. I was told it was in the queue and was escalated as a priority to continue to wait for the call back. After calling for the second time in the day in the early afternoon, I was told by the answering personnel that a prescription had been issued without prior consultation or call. I was advised they would put a message for a call back so that I could consult and inquire about the prescription. I finally received a call back, only to discover it was a steroid - a medication I had been instructed to avoid due to exacerbating the condition from my initial appointment. There was no regard of looking at my chart or reading any notes or to consult me.. just more time on the line of me having to wait in extreme discomfort. I provided a few alternative options from research I did out of self advocacy and desperation of what could help my condition. I was told they would need to confirm what would be the right prescription and I was promised of a prompt callback. Ultimately I never received a call back. Despite leaving messages again on that Tuesday, it was now the end of workday, where they activate their after hours line. I resorted to calling an after-hours line on the message, left yet another message but this time receive a call back within 20 minutes. I was finally able to speak to someone. This on-call associate was able to confirmed that the correct prescription had indeed been called in, in which I was extremely happy about yet extremely upset about because the medical assistant didn't bother to even call me to inform me about it sent in before leaving for the day. If I had not spoke with the after-hours on-call associate, I could had endured unnecessary discomfort for yet a whole other night when relief was readily available. Every minute felt like eternity with the type of discomfort I was in. Furthermore, the following day I actually received a call from the medical assistant at 2:45 PM. That is in afternoon of the following day. We are well into the 72 hours time frame now. She called to notify me that the prescription was called in after a whole day. This act of member service demonstrates a lack of consideration for the severity of my distress over the preceding days. Additionally, my attempts to escalate the matter by speaking with the manager were met with unresponsiveness. I was placed on hold, asked for information such as my DOB and why I was calling, placed on hold, then told she was "busy". Called today.. she is not in, but the staff will leave a message. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with the level of member care provided by the healthcare team. Despite my efforts to seek assistance, there was a notable absence of empathy throughout this ordeal. As someone who has never written a negative review, the severity of this experience compels me to share my disappointment publicly as a final resort. It is my hope that such feedback will prompt improvements in service delivery and prevent others from enduring similar hardships in the future.
Cosmetology pretending to be Dermatology. Brought my 4-year-old daughter in here because of persistent skin rash issues really affecting her quality of life. Referred by her PCM. Similar to other reviews here, we were seen by a "doctor" whom I actually believe was a cosmetology person masquerading as a 'Medical Professional'. When she entered the room, I directly asked the woman, "Are you the Dermatologist?" to which she replied, "I am a medical professional." It seemed a little odd at the moment, but shocking when I see the same method reported by others here. Speaking to the exam: at no time did this med professional ever actually look at my daughter's skin, nor did they conduct any tests, nor order any tests. Based on a 5-minute conversation with me, the med professional stated basically that, "my daughter must live with the condition and there is no treatment". Red flags included patient room filled with advertisements for cosmetic makeup and treatments. It is my sincere opinion that this office is a sham and has no business seeing patients for dermatology-related afflictions. Now if you need Miami beach bod laser peels or makeup tattoos then these are your people. Will be filing complaint with my insurance to hopefully have them removed from network.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
