List of Ear Nose & Throat Associates's Reviews
I recently had my thyroid removed due to several nodules, with one as large as a golf ball! I met with Dr. Desai at the Bardmoor office and was very impressed with not only his knowledge, but his communication skills, he truly listens. He answered the numerous questions I had, explaining everything thoroughly, calmly and with kindness. . He kept my family updated after the surgery and I just had my follow up appt today in the Clearwater office. Again, he took as much time (as I needed) with instructions of what was to be expected & the directions & care I needed to follow for a successful surgical outcome. I am so thankful that choosing Dr. Desai was the best decision I made for my body, mind and health.
Their billing practices are horrible. Talk about your surprise billings!! I can't see in your ear, let me remove the wax. Boom $35 bill. Oh, let me look up your nose to see what's up. Boom, another $200. That is in addition to the insurance co-pay. And then when you call to talk to them about it, they are rude as all heck. Don't recommend.
I would not recommend Dr. Peter McKernan, MD. He had me on 4 different antibiotics that didn't fix anything. At that point, I asked him if they ever CT ears to have a visual on the situation, he responded my yelling at me and giving me a long lecture about stats. Go somewhere else.
I had been strugging with a fungal infection in my ear. Urgent care couldn't help me. The Morton Plant ER couldn't help me. Dr. Jackson was off the charts phenomenal. He was kind, competent, compassionate, the whole package. Words can't begin to describe my gratitude. His bedside manner is fabulous, and he did a great job resolving my issue. I can hear perfectly, and the itchiness is gone. He's a keeper! I just adore him. Dr. Jackson will be my ENT from now on. This practice is lucky to have him on their staff.
I have been a patient of this group (e.g. Dr.David Hood And Dr. Shruthi Parasher) since Dec. 2021 and find them to be personable, knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately, their office staff (although mostly friendly) leaves a lot to be desired. My experience showed that they do not follow-up on orders or tests, will cancel your appointment if you are delayed and do not address their deficiencies despite consistent complaints from their patients. They are more concerned with blaming the BayCare system/personnel, then resolving your problem with an order. Today, I was chastised by Karen ? for shouting on the phone. If she ever bothered to listen to me or check my records, she would find that I have been recently treated on my vocal cords by Dr. Parasher, currently started with speech therapy and need a swallow study because I keep on chocking on food and medications. I have been given the Heimlich maneuver several times in the past 2 months by my wife because I was chocking to death. Finally, Karen said she would have to speak to her supervisor. When I asked for the supervisor's name she refused to provide it saying that it wasn't necessary. When she had explained the office procedure Ad Nausea-um, I asked for her supervisor's name again and she insisted that she already gave it to me. For the record her name is Tabatha Deasiderco (sp?). I left a message for Tabatha and am waiting for a call back. (to be continued) 🙏
From the check in process to the actual consultation, the whole staff was superb! Though I hope the symptoms I went in for completely go away and never come back, I know that if they do I will be in great hands. Dr. Greene was caring, thorough and addressed all my concerns and questions. Would highly recommend to anyone, and happy I found ENT Associates after going to other places that shouldn't even be practicing. Dropping off donuts tomorrow as a token of appreciation.
Just had a visit today. New patient. very welcoming and professional staff. The Doctor take time with patients, he truly care, empathetic, explained thoroughly the problem and solutions. Will recommend this provider 100%.
Great doctor! His concern is your health and not his pocket. The staff is fantastic and everything is done with precision and accuracy. The doctor's knowledge and skill will fill you with confidence that you have been cared for by the best.
Very effective is clearing up my ear infection! I went in and was seen quickly and Dr.M cleaned out my ear very gently and made me feel comfortable. He is a real specialist in his field I can tell. He also helped my husband immensely. He offers state of the art hearing test with other high tech equipment.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great services that work. Dr. M gives you results as soon as you start using His ENT services. He does not waste anytime fixing the problem. Great experience. I gave Dr. Mckernan because he was the only one who made time for my ear infection when I was desperate. I had to pay out of pocket and it was affordable. He took a chronic ear infection middle and outer and in one month I went from feeling miserable to feeling like I had new ears! I had a terrible ear infection and he used high tech equipment to gently clean and disinfect my ears. He was knowledgeable and informative. I genuinely am feeling back to normal again and it was a long time coming. All the other doctors couldn’t do the job but Dr. Mckernan could and did. When you use Dr. Mckernan’s services you know your with one of the best because he is a nationally recognized Doctor in his fields. He is a plastic surgeon, ENT specialist and I think he is even a dentist. Many accolades are posted in his office. I have already recommended all my family and friends.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
