I have a medical history of IBS and they wouldn't write me a prescription of dicyclomine which I've been prescribed before without making me do a catscan at Elmhurst memorial hospital. They charged my insurance over $10,000 for the scan. They also lied and said I wouldn't have to take anything for the scan when I had to do contrast which made me cancel my new therapy appointment the next day due to feeling bad from it. They told me the bill would show up as a normal walk clinic which is false.
If you're seeking help. DO NOT GO HERE. I went in with a list of symptoms. The nurse practitioner asked WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS. I named three things, one of which was menopause. He immediately ran with the narrative that it was menopause with no medical proof. After I got upset that he immediately attributed all of my symptoms to menopause. He did advise that he could run a limited number of tests to determine if I was in fact anemic or some other ailment. He even asked me what did Google say... WHAT? I don't want to be diagnosed by Google, I would like some medical professional and testing. However, the fact that he was dismissive of all my other symptoms that are not menopause related, I'd asked to work with someone else. He then sent in another RUDE BITCH who then proceeded to ask me questions I've already answered and was irritated at the fact that I was giving her one word answers to her questions. If you've already gotten feedback from the first ASSHOLE, why are you asking me? Just to the limited tests that you can do and I will follow up with my primary. I got up and walked out. I wouldn't want any of these people touching me in my time of need. If you value your time, money, and health.... this is not the place to go. To be disregarded is so offensive... I WISH you would send me a bill for no services rendered... You may as well charge that shit off NOW...I wouldn't pay these insensitive fucks a dime.
I'm surprised at all the negative reviews. I've been here twice in the last month; once for a virus infection and the other I needed X-rays. Each time the staff was very friendly and helpful; they were thorough and answered my questions with patience. Maybe I just got lucky and nicer people were working that day, but I had a good experience
This is a really nice care center with excellent staff from reception, techs, nurses and doctors. Everything is clean and new. I am grateful for the level of care I received and will definitely come back in the future if I need to.
I have brought this up many times. When patients have blood work or tests or infusions… I wish the portal would state if they need to fast beforehand. Every time I have blood work, I have to call the nurse and ask. And I wish they would make their portal user friendly.
i usually love coming here inside of the er…welp not this time! i came here for a sinus infection and usually they do chest x rays because my coughs are also bad…and this time they didn’t, which is okay but i had to wait 2 weeks to even get any help. i went to the ER and found out i had a sinus infection and bronchitis!! this place was no help and just let me get worse…
Staff is very rude. I called trying to get a COVID testing kit for my husband because he and I are both very sick. I cannot afford to buy the kit at the pharmacy. She kept saying I have to bring my husband in . I told her I couldn't because I was very sick too. She didn't try to help us in anyway.
The immediate care team ALWAYS takes amazing care of my son. We've had such a great experience every time we've gone.
Gave this Immediate Care Facility a try on a day when I had worsening eye irritation, and my Ophthalmologist was closed and my GP fully booked. The care was provided quickly - almost no waiting time. The staff members were good. Nurse Practitioner Kotlarz's bedside manner and treatment were great. I would definitely go back if I were to need Immediate care again.
I absolutely love this urgent care. They are always so attentive, they go the extra mile. Always in and out. The doctors and nurses are always so thorough and informative!
