List of Tallman Eye Associates's Reviews
Very difficult to get them on the phone. I patiently hold for a long time, only to get hung up on eventually. Either someone over there doesn't like answering the phone, or they are very understaffed.
Cannot get through to make an appointment been trying for going on 3 weeks
I previously had not been a patient at Tallman Eye Associates. I had a sudden and serious sight change and called the office. They scheduled me Immediately and I was able to see Dr. Stryjewski who treated me. The scheduling staff, office staff and Dr Stryjewski were all wonderful. I am very thankful for such excellent care.
had an appointment at another facilty for cataract surgery January 2025. Called Tallman for an appointment they had a cancellation and got me in in two days. staff was fantastic took me in right on time. did my testing and scheduled my cataract for September. thank you Tallman.
Absolutely no good!
Almost forgot to write this. STAY AWAY or be vigilant of your bill and what they charge you for. I used to go to Dr. Kwon in my late teens, when I moved back to the area in my late 20’s I sought him out since he was great back then. He is still a good Dr (albeit normally tardy) provides great care. I’ve seen him for 3 years and recently was charged for a treatment I didn’t receive. I was a patient at the Haverhill/Newburyport locations. Over 2 mths of phone calls with billing, and a disrespectful call from their receptionist Lucy. The ‘treatment’ I received was likely a charting mistake they refused to accept. I finally went into the office to resolve per my insurance advice. Keri the lead tech assured it would be taken care of, that’d she’d call. Next day, I get a call from Lucy. She starts off with ‘I just want to let you know Dr Kwon hasn’t gotten paid since you claim he was paid for the visit’, a false statement since what I said to Keri the day prior was that I don’t understand why he’s billing $366 when in the past for more extensive treatment it has been much cheaper ($253). Lucy tells me that ‘Dr Kwon has decided this one time to provide a professional courtesy and not get paid because he doesn’t like his patients to be upset or dissatisfied with the service’. After this statement it was clear to me that they don’t understand. The point isn’t the money, the point is the principal. Not being able to explain why I was charged more is a problem and they do not see it (all of this which I said to her). Anyhow she proceeded to tell me she canceled future medical appts, despite her vindictive tone, I wholeheartedly agreed. Needless to say, I was not planning to go back and have since sought out a new eye doctor in Salem. She’s transparent and so far provides great care. I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.
I complain to the doctor for which I've been going to for 16 years, my eyes in the past she has started to act differently, and I kept complaining, and it was getting worse and worse and I go back. He checked him and tell me that there was nothing wrong and I would ask him. How can I have these problems and nothing be wrong And I get a shrug of the shoulders. I finally went to a specialist who after careful exam immediately identified that I needed surgery called iridotomy and that it if not corrected one could go blind, this doctor after several visits should have caught this serious eye condition , I will never go again
Incredibly disorganized. Hard to get in contact with someone from the contact lens department, hours do not match what are advertised, unhelpful staff. Will be switching to a new eye care provider.
The employees at this establishment are the most rude and unhelpful people I have ever dealt with. Go elsewhere you won't regret it.
Among the most disorganized medical practices I have ever seen. Long waits to reach anyone in their call-center. Staff do not know when offices are opened or closed. Staff are poorly trained and seem uninterested in customer service. Offices are simply “closed“ for “lunch“ at unpublished, irregular times. If you have unlimited amounts of time and patience and flexibility, this is the practice for you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
