Disappointed with the Experience Despite Professional Staff I came in as an emergency walk-in patient due to a severe toothache. The receptionist was very friendly and personable, and the dental technicians were professional. I presented my insurance and made it clear that I was there for a specific issue — a painful tooth that needed to be addressed immediately. Instead of taking x-rays only of the affected area, the team proceeded to do a full set of x-rays, including panoramic scans and gum density exams. While I appreciated the thoroughness, this seemed excessive for an emergency visit focused on one painful tooth. The dentist was professional and took the time to explain everything clearly. After speaking with her, I decided I just wanted the extraction done to relieve my pain. Here’s where the experience went downhill: After the dentist left, I was given an initial out-of-pocket estimate of $92, which I was ready to pay. Then another staff member (possibly the office manager) came in and said the quote was incorrect because a technician hadn’t clicked the right button — the new cost was $150. I agreed again because I was desperate to get out of pain. But when I went to pay, the total was suddenly $200, supposedly because of a $50 deductible. I asked if the deductible could be billed to me later since I had the $150 ready. I also questioned why I wasn’t told it would be $200 from the start. By that point, I had been in the office for an hour and a half (from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM), still in pain, with no treatment provided — only an extensive battery of x-rays and escalating charges. It felt like my insurance was over-utilized for procedures that didn’t address my immediate concern. I left in the same pain I arrived in, frustrated and very disappointed with how the financial side was handled.

Had work done today with DR. SEPÚLVEDA and her assistant SHATOYA. They are true professionals that make your experience very comfortable. I strongly recommend them for your dental care.

During my cleaning I had a wonderful conversation with Jen, who I met for the first time today. After discussing things outside of my dental care which included Theology, International Studies, Linguistic Structure we actually hugged goodbye. I consider this an excellent appointment.

Very friendly staff & exceptional service! Being new to the area, I found this practice via reviews & research - LUCKY ME!!

For 8 months I have been harassed by endless bills and even sent to collections because this office can’t process insurance. First they assigned me a dentist who wasn’t credentialed with my insurance. Insurance claim is for a non preferred provider because the office failed to assign me a credentialed dentist. Now the office can’t figure out how to unscrew their own mistake so they sent my bill to collections. They’ve lost an insurance check given to them months ago. The office keeps giving me the same excuse that it’s being taken care of, same story for 8 months.

I'm super panicky and afraid at the dentist and I've come here for my last few appointments for cleanings and cavity fillings. Sylvia and Nahisha are the kindest and most gentle hygienists you could ask for, and they've helped put me at ease every time I've come back to have work done. It's thanks to them that I'm continuing to find the courage to stop avoiding going to the dentist.

Disappointed, if your looking to trust a dentist, this isn't the place. Dishonest approach to medical billing.
