List of Hands Of Hope's Reviews
Went a few times a few years ago before moving elsewhere due to the mediocre care and very poor facilities. I continue to receive aggressive requests for surveys, follow ups, feedback, etc. despite opting out every time. I just received an AI robocall despite multiple opt outs and not having visited in years. The PT isn’t very good and they certainly don’t deserve your business for their aggressive sales.
Nice PT. However, after my visit, I was called multiple times to make the next appointment, I said do not call me but still even today an AI bot was calling me to schedule my next visit. I cannot stop them from calling me in the middle of a meeting. Cannot stop this harassment.
I’m not going to bash this place like others have in their reviews, but I will say they should invest in more reliable staff especially at the front desk. The positive is that the space itself is nice and roomy. If you’re going there for something really minor or simple, it might work for you. But if you’re looking for more in-depth support or a service that requires greater attention and care, this may not be the place for you. Personally, I don’t plan on returning I believe I can handle what I need on my own. That said, I do think the establishment has potential. If they took things more seriously and invested in improving their staff and overall experience, I think they could deliver much better results.
You guys was awesome
Great care and thoughtful practitioners, quality and type of care. Friendly staff. Super convenient hours and location for me because it is near my morning commute. Super friendly staff who was able to help me solve insurance issues.
Staff is very good at what they do
Very hands on no doubt I'll recommend
Really nice community physical therapy. I have loved working with Mansi and Laquan. They are kind and very helpful. Very affordable with my insurance. Would recommend!
Great customer service , welcome atmosphere, Clean rehab station.
My experience at hands of hope was so chaotic, disorganized, and frankly exploitative that I feel obligated to speak up. I originally came in for leg pain and scheduled a same-day appointment. I was waiting to see a neurologist for broader health issues but hoped to address the leg issue with some stretches or basic PT in the meantime. At my initial appointment, several different people came into the exam room, asked me the same questions, and seemed disorganized—looking around for iPads, confused about what was happening. No one introduced themselves. The doctor came in briefly, asked very few questions, and prescribed gabapentin—which didn’t help because I wasn’t experiencing nerve pain. I was ordered an MRI and then for nerve testing on-site, which was very disorganized/did not instill confidence. I later found out I’d undergone an ankle-brachial index test (which showed a compressed artery) but wasn’t told the test was even happening. One report suggested possible autonomic dysfunction, even though the required standing portion of the test was skipped. Now, my PCP is referring me to a vascular surgeon—uncertain whether the test results are accurate or misinterpreted. At my follow-up, I expected to see the same doctor but was instead seen by a nurse practitioner who simply read the MRI report aloud. He had no access to the actual images, told me I had spinal cysts, and recommended finding a spinal surgeon on Zocdoc—offering no explanation, no context, just “Google one.” I also couldn’t get my nerve testing results in time for my neurology appointment. Despite multiple requests and being told they’d be sent to me after the follow-up, I was given everything except those results. Later, I received a call saying I could schedule a separate appointment just to get them. The person who performed the test had mentioned possible abnormalities, but I never received the full report—so my neurologist had to redo it. The physical therapy experience was even worse. Staff barely monitored patients, spending most of their time on computers at a central desk, and rarely gave clear instructions. My assigned therapist was impatient and dismissive—often mumbling directions while loud music played overhead. When I asked for clarification, she seemed annoyed. On top of that, different physical therapists would randomly come up to me mid-session and start giving conflicting instructions or throwing in new exercises, often without any context or explanation. It was chaotic and made it impossible to know what the plan was. There was only one therapist who actually seemed engaged and attentive—he wasn’t assigned to me, but on the occasions when he was the one who came over, it was the only time I felt supported. Unfortunately, that was the exception, not the rule. No one ever explained what the exercises were for, how they would help, or tracked my progress. I never received home exercises or any sort of care plan. When I finally saw my neurologist (not affiliated with Hands of Hope), he said there were no spinal cysts and that there was no indication for surgery or PT at all since I had normal strength - contrary to what the therapists at Hands of Hope had suggested, urging me to come in three times a week to fix my strength. Meaning, the PT was all for nothing - a waste of time and money. And today, I found out I was billed for an office specialist visit—for an unsolicited phone call the doctor made trying to convince me to schedule more appointments. I had already paid for a specialist visit back in March—only to be seen by a nurse practitioner who offered no real insight. I work hard, I don’t make a lot, I’ve been having a lot of health issues, I’m exhausted and I was just trying to do the right thing by seeking care. What I got instead was a disorganized clinic that prioritized money over patient care. Bottom line: Do not go here. It’s disorganized, unsafe, and predatory. Physical therapy clinics should be places of healing—not billing machines that exploit your vulnerability. *Name changed for privacy

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
