The PT there refused to use my preferred name, that i use at work, ive walked into sessions where the PT is in the back getting a massage from the assistant, and when she didnt want to get up to turn back on a massage device for patients she had the assistant stop what he was doing to turn the machine back on for her. Along with the constant inappropriate conversations/complaining surrounding hands of hope, the therapists has made disparaging remarks like not wanting to work with the peope at the jackson hgts or astoria location, not like the area[both poc neighborhoods], and issues with her boss. I requested my exercises in a printed out list on my first visit,I did not recieve it, i had to write them down myself during the session, and getting explainations of movements was pulling teeth. 4 months later i am now frustrated with the regressing of movements, when i inquired for a friend about working with a male physical therapists via the phone line, the PT at Rockefeller, not only confronted me about it, taking a personal insult from the question, then attempted to bring my job into it, and said that i made up the feelings I expressed. I requested more advanced movements that matched my needs/goals better, i was given a print out, and asked to verify my name again???[ Ive been going there since last year] and given a list of movements we had never done before. I had to take a break for 2 weeks b.c of work and this was weaponized against me, and i was told i should just leave if i dont want to be there. Im simply askingnfor baseline treatment, that a personal trainer can adhere to, e.g explaining movmements, giving me a list of the movements to do at home, and having empathy. Im not sure if it is my job field, intersection of my race/gender, or sheer lack of professional knowledge but my experience is very different from non black patients/patients that are not athletes. I just want cohesive treatment, and to trust my PT. Not wanting to ensure that a person trusts you or feels comfortable around you is pretty basic, and telling them that its their problem if they dont feel comfortable is horrible for retention rates.
Very helpful, professional and kind physical therapist 👍
Fast for service and professional
Thankful for this spot. I can in pain and left feeling better! They technically didn’t even have the time for my full appointment but were also willing to stay late! Really great care
Very Clean, Professional, and Warm environment.🪷🙏🏾 The physical therapist did not try to override my knowledge about my own body👍🏾 Which was great 😎 And they smoothly adjusted my exercises to my injury level which is serious🌟🪻☀️ I overall give "Hands of Hope" physical therapy a "10"😃 Egypt
Wala and Marshy were wonderful. Professional and friendly and explained things in a clear manner. Just a great experience!
BILLING SCAM! My father’s insurance was billed over $1,000 for a PT session that never happened. The office then also billed him a $40 co pay for the same visit. The appointment was scheduled with a “Dr. Harold”. When my father arrived the office was extremely dirty/dusty which made him uncomfortable so he decided not to have the session. About a month later he received the statement showing over $1K billed. Taking advantage of a 79 year old man in this way is unacceptable. You did not provide any services to him! Disgusting, stay away from here.
Friendly. Clean. Got the job done.
The physical therapist I saw did a thorough intake. She took me through a series of stretching exercises, which I indicated I very much need. I’m very much looking forward to my second session.
Very Good

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
