John Ackert does not have an adequate amount of comments to generate the sentiment analysis.
Dr. Ackert saw me on short notice. Spent time discussing symptoms. Was able to schedule me for CAT scan on the same day. He's also funny.
Dr. Ackert has been my gastroenterologist for about five years. He is a very rigorous, caring doctor, and has a much appreciated "old school" way about him. I highly recommend him.
Excellent nurses, doctor, facility. Ive had Dr. Ackert for my colonoscopies for 20 years. On 2 occasions, I needed care before I could have the procedure. I was brought to a bed, guven heated blankets, monitored, given a drip. The procedure wasn't started until they were sure that my vitals were perfect. I highly recommend this doctor and facility.
Dr. Ackert is one of the kindest, most caring doctors I've ever had! Aside from making me feel very comfortable, he was extremely accommodating and competent-- he squeezed me in and performed a last-minute endoscopy on me that same day. Very grateful and would highly recommend!

Dr. Ackert was great! You see a lot of doctor's in your lifetime for numerous things, so it's great when you meet one who is so down to earth and passionate about his profession. Dr. Ackert got everything I needed done right away and already has me on track for a speedy recovery. Thaks Doc!
My most recent r experience with this office was horrific. I have been coming to Dr. Ackert for a decade, The fact that he is now part of an integrated delivery system does not allow personalized continuity of care. The issue here is the Northwell System and it’s employees not the doctor. This system needs repair employees do not know how to.communicate with patients.
Dr. Ackert himself seems lovely, the one time I managed to meet him in person for an endoscopy. The problem is that his office is the most infuriating one I've had to deal with. I'm not a problem patient calling nonstop or requiring high-maintenance service, either.Over the past 3 weeks, I was given the wrong procedure prep and had to figure that out on my own (and didn't get a call back until I emailed them), I had a pharmacy call me and tell me I had a prescription but the doc's office never told me what it was for and why (and I'm still trying to find out, but again, the office responds to no emails OR calls), and the only reason the endoscopy got scheduled to begin with is that my primary care physician works in a related practice and submitted the referral directly - I couldn't get an appointment by calling on my own because no one replied for days. I've never had a call *not* go to voicemail (and I've never gotten a call back after leaving a message).I'm fed up, still in pain, and exhausted.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
