Unbelievably bad experience at Schweiger Dermatology – Brighton (Dr. Abigail Hunt Dugo). My appointment was at 7:40 AM at 2150A. I showed up right on time, but both the front and back doors were locked — the entire building was closed. I waited patiently in my car for over 30 minutes, left a voicemail, and checked my confirmation email again, which clearly said 2150A. When I went next door to 2140A, they told me the doctor refused to see me, saying I was late — which was completely false. Then the receptionist came back saying the doctor claimed I had rescheduled my appointment, which was a blatant lie. I was shocked by how disorganized, rude, and dishonest this office was. They gave the wrong address, wasted my time, and then blamed me for their mistake. No apology. No responsibility. Just excuses. This place shows zero respect for patients. If you value your time and want to be treated fairly, stay far away from this office. There are many better dermatologists in Rochester who actually care about their patients.
I went to their office in Morristown . My appointment was at 1:40. I got there at 1:38 went into office checked in the women had me sign paperwork and I sat down for 30 minutes. I received a text telling me I missed my appointment and the women At front desk called my name. When I went to the front desk she said you were late they can’t see you. I said I’ve been here you gave me the paperwork to sign . She asked if I wanted to speak to the manager I said yes and sat down . I waited 15 minutes and the women called my name and said there is nothing I can do. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!!
Don't go here - you will not be able to reach them. Patient well being is not a concern. They left me a message about my biopsy results, I have tried to 5 business days to contact them and left 4 messages. No one has called back. Today I finally checked the portal to see that I do in fact have SKIN CANCER. And yet they can't be bothered to return my call? Absolutely beside myself. What a terrible office.
Dr. Carla Smith-Ricks provided an exceptional patient experience. She went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, SEEN, heard and most of all valued. It’s rare to find a doctor who truly listens to your concerns and addresses them thoroughly. The staff were very kind and welcoming every visit.
My experience with the doctors and staff there has been amazing. Writing this review because this office uses an off-site answering service and it is IMPOSSIBLE to speak to the front desk staff in the ACTUAL doctors office. They will only speak to you via an online chat which they rarely respond to. Absurd.
I saw Dr Bassett as well as Smith-Ricks (mainly Dr Bassett). While he seems like a very in-demand doctor, I was eager that my (not so great) insurance was accepted there and I could see such a knowledgeable and integrative allergist who is not averse to holistic approaches. All of the staff are friendly and professional. The doctor really seems to care about his patients and treats you with kindness and good bedside manner. They gave me all the testing I needed to move forward in my life with more knowledge. While you get called in fairly quickly, waits CAN be long once you are in the exam room, so make the most of it get as much as you can taken care of at each visit! I would really suggest their office, all my experiences with them were positive. I also love that every single room has an air purifier, no fragrances here either! I wish more places did this!
Had testing done and paid out of pocket with zero balance. Received a bill a month later for 2,000 dollars with no explanation. They are scamming vulnerable patients. Go elsewhere.
Didn't go well I will never ever go to these People of greed,I made an appointment to the Hudson St in Jersey city Office dermatologist and the day of my appointment I called to canceled and a week after I get a bill of $50 for canceling due to me not canceling ahead of time not on the day of appointment I had to cancel a few days before my my appointment which I was unaware and which I later saw on their policy of canceling an appointment ,I feel it's greed
FRAUD BILLING! PATIENT NEVER SAW THIS DERMATOLOGY GROUP AND THEIR "ESCALATION" DEPARTMENT WAS UNHELPFUL AND RUDE. DO THEY EVEN LOOK AT AN ID WHEN A PATIENT COMES IN ... OBVIOUSLY NOT. BEWARE!
Was a patient for 6+ years & needing to resume treatment but was given the run around with 3 scheduling & cancellations before finally given a date a month in the future. Was told I will be considered a new patient & when I asked about my prior treatment records & if they still exist, I was told to calm down. So I put forward a formal request for my treatment records & two weeks gone by with no records provided. Should I continue to calm down now, Amanda the receptionist? I get a sense that if you start panicking a bit, it will help expedite locating my six+ years of medical records maybe? Avoid this place.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
