This business is unprofessional. I arrived at 1:30pm Saturday because the business hours state that they close at 2pm. I arrived to the business closed with no one inside. And since they are blaming the weather, it was a high of 51 and a low of 45. I need my contacts.

Yup, Dr. Al is a 1st Class Eye Doctor and a very decent guy from South Philly (Born & Raised) that gives a Veterans (USMCR) Discount% on Eye Exams and glasses to me. His staff is very nice, and the office is in a very good location in 19148!! All Good with Dr. Al & the Ladies Crew @ Pearle Vision Center in the Whitman Plaza and I have been a happy patient for over 10 years, too!!

Booked my appointment on line for 3:30pm as that is what showed available.. the day of the appointment I received a call from a not very happy receptionist asking if I could come in earlier as I am the last appointment of the day and the doctor leaves as soon as it is finished, when I said I could get there about 3pm she was still not thrilled with my answer.. fast forward two weeks later I call to see if my glasses are ready, come to find out they are but I hadn't received an email or call, okay what ever, I'll stop in right after work as they close at 4pm per their website and door marker, it's now 3:10pm and the place is completely locked up! Safe to say one and done with this place, shame because the doctor was very nice and seemed to do a good job!

I've been going here for at least 30+ years. Dr. Fonticoba is very thorough. I would not got to the competition VisionW. I made the mistake of going to VisionW 1 time and I'd never go there again. It was a matter of needing an appointment fast. Go to Pearle. It's worth waiting for an appointment.

I read the reviews before going here which had me terrified but I can say that my experience was much different than those with one stars. The women were very kind, I was able to get in and see the doctor before my scheduled appointment time. Service was fast and efficient. The doctor was very nice, listened to my needs and even made a few jokes which I loved. Very polite, lots of clear information and my insurance was accepted heree. I'll be going back for sure.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now for eye exams. Never had an issue with eye exams - the doctor’s nice and appointments are easy to book and they take my insurance with no problem. I prefer to get contacts here (just to use up my benefits) cuz the only time I ordered a pair of glasses they took forever to come in.

DO NOT GO HERE! When you go to a doctor you put your trust in them that they give you the correct assessment. I went to this specific pearl vision and the doctor not only changed my contact script he changed my glasses as well. The issue wasn’t realized until i order a year supply of contacts and a set of glasses. Both non refundable! So i suffered for a year with wrong vision. The next year i went to another doctor and she was appalled at the script that was in my glasses. It was way too strong and the glass was not for my eyes. The contacts were wrong as well. I proceeded forward with that doctor and when i got my new contacts and glasses i am amazed at how much my vision improved! I am 46 years old so my script does not change that much. The fact that they are giving wrong prescriptions on both glasses and contacts is a huge red flag! Do not go here
