I have major anxiety as well as claustrophobia. The staff here is so patient And understanding. They allowed my significant other to be in the room while I had my upright mri which made it so much easier on me. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who may suffer from anxiety or claustrophobia. I can’t say enough good things about them

Dr ordered brain MRI and I am extremely claustrophobic. I am so happy I found Advance Diagnostic. I was very very comfortable and never once felt claustrophobic. The staff was very patient, informative and always asking if I was doing ok. Highly Highly recommend Advance Diagnostic.

Great staff

I have had A LOT of MRIs in the past decade. I guess just call me lucky! I even had three in one year back in 2013 because of my shoulder. Anyway....Because I've had so many, I'm quite experienced with the process. I've also had them performed at many different places and on different areas of my body from my head to my knees.I can't say I've ever had a bad MRI experience, but the MRI I had done here was unquestionable the best experience I've had.Staff, technicians, doctor.... all wonderful. I had to have a doctor here because I had an MRI with contrast done and apparently a doctor has to inject the contrast through the IV which a technician starts. I did have about a 30-45 minutes wait past my scheduled appointment time, but their waiting area is so nice and soothing that I didn't mind it at all. There are plenty of magazine, but I brought my crocheting along with me, so I was well occupied.Once it was time for my MRI, I had a smooth experience from beginning to end. When having a medical procedure done, it's always so nice to have all the staff you come in contact with be so caring, patient, concerned, and comforting. I received that all here.My results were also very quickly sent to my physician. I wouldn't hesitate to return here again in the future for any imaging I may need.

Location plays a big part in first impressions and this location is sandwiched between a RaceTrac gas station and a strip club. The parking lot is facing a strip club. My appointment was scheduled at 8pm, which meant it would be getting dark by the time I left and they take appointments up till 10pm. My knee jerk reaction is I don't want to walk out to my car at night next this kind of environment in the dark.Inside are 2 workers- the front desk receptionist and the technologist. I worked radiology for almost a decade before moving to Jax- so I made small talk about it and how one man is buying out all the radiology groups. He bought out my old company and just bought out Advanced Diagnostic Group. We also chatted about the differences.- this location currently only uses the open MRI and the traditional 1.5 T MRI. No other modalities. I completed my paperwork and was walked back right away- I know the drill, so I just had to lock up my wallet and slip off the bra (metal and MRI can skew results). I have become claustrophobic over the years and was here for the open MRI. I had never done a joint before so- that wasn't as "open" as doing the spine. You stand sideways and slip your arm in this whole- while leaning against a padded area. Then you go for the ride- you are tilted a bit more than 45 degrees and shifted so that the area being scanned is in the center of the machine. It's more like being smooshed between 2 walls instead of fed into a tube. I closed my eyes for most of the scan- since my nose was an inch from the wall and did my best to remain perfectly still. Thanks to my previous work- I knew joints take approximately 25 minutes IF you don't move. I had one spasm, but it apparently didn't alter the images (YaY). Good evening I went to advanced after being referred there by my doctor. I showed up on the evening of my appointment. I was greeted and felt welcomed by lady at front desk. It was later in the evening so there is only one woman working. For as much as she seems overwhelmed with all the check ins . She managed to keep her cool and was very friendly and engaged in positive conversation. 5 stars for her. And the tech which was a man very nice and helpful. Offer to put on your favorite music and all. 5 stars for him. Week later I called billing department and talked to jerry to see about getting a copy of my bill. His service was exceptionally great. Took care of me in a few minutes. Very friendly service. Thanks for your friendly service believe me it’s well appreciated after being in a car accident and putting up with all you have to when you don’t know. So this is where they lost me. I received the bill from jerry . And noticed a mistake on my address so I call the billing department and no jerry this time . Got a young lady on the phone and wasn’t very friendly at all 2-20-2020 so she agreed to fix the address and hung up in my ear . Well I guess there goes all the kindness and friendliness I had experienced out the door. That wasn’t the end of it . I had talked to insurance about getting this bill paid ASAP and they told me they had not received it so I call billing department once again to inquire about if my bill was sent to insurance company and the same lady I talked to about an hour before pick up the phone. As before not very nice at all very nasty disposition I’m try to get my bill to insurance company so it can get paid and I can pay my share why I have the money. So in a nutshell me personally I wouldn’t visit this place again. There’s to many imaging places in the area to have to deal with someone with a nasty attitude from the billing department so sad that one bad apple can turn it around. Forced me to sign an assignment of benefits when I was paying cash and not using benefits, with no reason other than, "you have to or we won't do your MRI." Maybe there's a good reason... guess I'll never know ‍

Hours on Yelp are not correct. They do not accept FL Blue Medicare, have limited X-ray capabilities, and staff was not friendly at all

My wife has been waiting for two days for a call back from upright MRI after she called them stating per her ortho doctor's office that the referral had been sent and to please call her back for an appointment. She has been waiting 2 months for this. I will not tell you all that she has had to do between calling the doctor's offices who only like to place blame on each other. She called and was told that they had not received it and could do nothing. She called today and was told that being a holiday weekend that the manager was gone and all was locked in "her office". I hope she has a nice weekend. I hope that she goes through her "referrals" when she returns. My wife is still waiting. We pay $600.00 a month for her insurance that this caring company apparently accepts.Respectfully, Still waiting..........
