This placed saved my life, if your reading these reviews in wondering if methadone will work for you! IT WILL!! Regardless of what you have heard from others I promise it will help you. As long as you want to get clean, it will help you with cravings and even boost your mood! It's life changing I promise. This clinic is very personal to me I've been going here almost three years now and I love everyone here of course there's been slow days where ur here almost an hour or more waiting to dose but hey we used to wait hours for drug dealers to get back to us right??? Lol so waiting a little time to save ur life is worth it. All staff is nice, they make you feel like family not an addixt.,but I will say this, they have SEEN IT ALL, so don't lie to them....just be honest....if you want to get off the methadone they help with that too. Alot of people think once on methadone your stuck, but I. They help you with literally whatever resources you need. And on holidays they do cute events for you and your children. Like on Halloween they have trick or treating, Easter they have Easter egg hunts on Christmas they even have a santa and give out gifts :) very welcoming place. Just follow the rules and you'll be fine. I promise.

Great place doing great things. I love working here as a counselor and helping make a difference in people's lives. The great thing is they are also making a difference in my life. I really love my job 😊

I have been a client at Aegis Medical since about 1992.I am a recovered addict, and I owe a large part of my recovery to the Aegis clinic, the staff, and methadone maintenance.When I was tired of the life, tired of prison, and tired of the hustle, trying to raise my family and begin a new life, it was God and the methadone clinic that saved my life.I am completely convinced that if Aegis had not been open to me out in the high desert, I would be in prison or worse... dead.The staff at Aegis have always been kind, understanding and helpful. They do not judge, they are there to listen and to guide.I have been drug free for many, many years now, and I can honestly say that methadone, and the Aegis Medical clinic, get much of the credit for this.I hope that anyone who might be in the place I was at those many years ago, reads this and gives Aegis a call.It might change your life.

Always happy and satisfied expect one time coupe of years back I was out of state becouse of my job did not receive my take home and after 4 days with no medication went to emergency hospital they prescribe small amount of morphin wehen I came back to california Aegis canceled all my take home(2 weeks ) and start me up from zero with having all my hospil papers after that haven't experienced any bad treatment and I am very happy.

If not for the staff , counseling and support from this place , I'd be dead today! This place has taught me important tools for coping as well as daily life skills which I was lacking as an addict of many years . There are not enough good things I could say about this place. A necessary evil if you will ? While there is a “stigma” associated with methadone and its overall effects on the body . I’m still on the road to recovery and living a healthy lifestyle. I recommend this place to anyone with an opiate addiction . After 8 yrs now. I’m proud to be drug free and my life now has vastly improved from the day I first walked in . I lost near everything I had . Now I’ve gained more than I could ever dream.One piece of advice. Follow the rules. Be courteous to the staff. Take your time and find the right counselor for yourself. Be honest , be real and be yourself !Congrats on the beginning of the rest of your life !

The staff is very helpful. I have Ashley as a counselor and she is helping me work on my recovery. I haven't wanted to use since I've been going there and Ashley is there for me working with me and wants me to be great.

Certain people make this place amazing. Others I can’t quite say the same. But I have to say that it is such an improvement from when I first started and it’s only getting better.

Fantastic staff! Everyone goes above & beyond to make sure you feel welcomed, important & attended to. They take the time to get to know you and greet you by name daily. Richard is great counselor, very attentive, incredibly kind and compassionate about what he does. He takes the time to understand your needs, listen to you, let you vent, offer any resources he may have access to & if not he'll do his best to get the info for you. He's encouraging and supportive as well which is absolutely necessary within this industry. Overall I'm completely satisfied with the treatment provided by Aegis & even moreso with the staff!
