Saved my life! Been clean over 3 years and run 2 groups at the clinic. I used to have a horrible perception of methadone, said I'd never touch it.. Then I spoke with the doctors and really learned about how it works and the tapering process. This is the only clinic in the area that makes you do counseling once a week and attend groups. It's not a juice bar!! One of the best decisions I've ever made!!!!!

This place quite literally might have saved my life! If you feel like you’re at the end of the rope with your addiction there are a lot of caring, understanding, and helpful people here to help.

I started at this place in October of 2018. And it’s the last thing I tried but it saved my life! The staff here really cares about their patients. I’d recommend it to anyone with a heroin problem. 100%

I been going here a while now and i have never had a complaint the staff is always understanding to any situation i feel the staff nd counslers really seem dedicated to getting all the patients on the right path n give us all the tools for life after the clinicnever have i had a negative comment for the simi valley aegis treatment center and id reccomnd thos place to everyone battiling opioid addiction.

A wonderful place to be. Great people at the Simi Valley location .Everyone that I have worked with from my counselor to the supervisors, managers and the professionals who work the front desk are so very nice and understand what addiction can do to a person's life and those around us.When I made the decision to get sober I researched many places from Passages to basic clinics. None of them were worth or had the right plan to save me except for the experts at Aegis. Everyone that I have had the pleasure of working with at Aegis has had a part in saving my life. I would mention names on those that really stood out in my sobriety, however, confidentiality is a huge part of the way Aegis professionals conduct their business and duties. Which was great for me as there are only 2-3 people outside of Aegis that I consider are ok to know about my plans of a life that serves my mind, body and soul. If it were not for Aegis and the great individuals there I would be in the hospital dying from some sort of liver disease. I waited so long to get myself on the wagon that my liver was starting to show signs of early stage liver disease. Aegis helped me turn that around. I do have fatty liver disease which was diagnosed way before my decision to stop looking for more pills and just take that small leap into a sober living state .My mind is still a mess however my Aegis Counselor and everyone else are my largest group of advocates into ensuring I am receiving what I need to move me to the next stages in a sober life. I know I have repeated myself on this review in several instances. I truly cannot say enough good things about them without sounding fake. I have a straight shooter type of attitude. I have only experienced those at the Simi Valley Aegis location.Please if you are sick and tired of looking for your drug of choice and the side effects that come with not having it. If you are worried at all of overdosing and lying dead on the floor for someone you love to find you please SEEK THE HELP OF AN AEGIS OFFICE NEAR YOU. Also if you feel you may have overdosed and a friend is with you first go to your local ER or call 911.When your life is saved get to you local Aegis office right away. They also offer free Arkan kits free. The local pharmacy charges in the range of $150 per kit. So keep that in mind as well .Regardless of what stage you are in .Just tell yourself you need help and as you would go to your local dealer make the RIGHT turn to Aegis for help. I'm telling you it works at any age. It's a very tough decision I know but once you ready get your life over to Aegis.Now that I have taken you through my boring story. If you are an addict who wants to be saved. Call Aegis and start getting better, happier and build back relationships lost during the running along side the wagon. Started just over a month ago, I wish I would have found this place a lot sooner! I wouldn't have thrown away so much precious time, energy, trust, money and dearest friendships. Thank you Aegis!

Honestly this Clinic is a great place if you truly want help. Yea it can be looked at like trading one thing for another. But its all monitored in every way.I do think though they should kick someone out after a few dirty tests and not let someone just keep taking the Medicine as well as using.... With that said this clinic did help me get away from a drug that ruins everything in A life quickly, and helped me get on track! My Councilors were a huge part in that as well! I really wish I could still go to counciling with my last Councilor she was great! You get what you put in, in everything in life! My purpose in coming to this clinic was fullfilled and Im thankfull for everyone there that helped in my Process!

This is a methadone clinic, but you wouldn't know it just by it's name alone. AEGIS is very professional and organized. My girl Sellena Riske goes here and has made a few friends. I personally detoxed myself off of methadone and switched to suboxone which is way better and much easier to kick compared to methadone. It took me over 3 weeks to detox and function again.
