I first met Dr. Grossett in my hospital room late in the evening. I did not have cancer, I did however have a mystery blood clot in the portal vein of my live. Dr Grossett sat on the bed next to me pen and paper in had an explained in detail what was happening to me, and what we were going to do. I even participated in a woman's blood clot study. To learn that I have to be on a blood thinner for life. I went through a difficult personal time, and Dr Grossett was so kind, helpful even offered to be my advocate. When I received the letter in the mail that we were loosing Dr Grossett because Kootenai Medical Center was going in a direction he didn't agree with. And boy was he correct. I miss you Dr. Grossett.
