Dr. Putterman changed my life. He performed ptosis surgery on my eyelids and it has my changed my appearance and quality of life. I would recommend him to anyone that needs help!

After visiting three plastic surgeons I was finally referred to Dr. Putterman and am I glade I was, not only was his staff professional, timely, and courteous. I cannot say enough of how they treated me. Dr Putterman is number one in the world even inventing special tools for eye surgery very professional meticulous. You cannot find a better eye surgeon and I am completely satisfied with the surgery that he performed it was like 12 different surgeries absolutely unbelievable. I cannot say enough wonderful words regarding Dr. Allen Putterman and his staff. He is the most brilliant eye surgeon and kind? Amazingly so. And, I don't think there is any eye surgeon more outstanding, educated, caring, on the planet than Dr. Allen Putterman. I found a Nevus/mole in my right eye and was referred to Dr. Putterman by my regular ophthalmologist who does not perform the kind of surgery needed to remove a nevus/mole in the eye. He told me that he only wanted me to go to Dr. Putterman and I can see why. Dr. Putterman makes you almost want to need surgery! I have never in my entire life experienced such brilliance, excellence, kindness, preciseness in any doctor. There are not enough words to describe the outstanding experience I had with Dr. Putterman and I don't believe I ever will. I give him and his staff an Excellent rating, and if you ever find that you need eye surgery or if you have any eye issues, please go to him. Thank you Dr. Puttman and your outstanding staff.

I am a 72 year old man who had drooping upper eyelids and serious bags beneath both eyes. I looked much older than I felt. Dr. Putterman performed my corrective surgery October 30, 2020 . Today is Thanksgiving Day and I look terrific! My wife says I look at least 20 years younger and I could not agree more. I thank Dr. Putterman and his wonderful staff for making all the improvements needed to make me look good and feel even better. Their talents and kindness made this entire experience extremely rewarding for me.

Back in 1996 Dr. Putterman performed surgery which corrected both of my eyes due to Graves Disease. That's was the first major surgery I experienced at the age of 23 and I was so scared of what could happen. But, Dr. Putterman and his team was excellent at assuring me the possibilities of the outcome. Till this day I am grateful that he could help my appearance and correct my eyes before the situation became worse like losing my eyesight.

I was very anxious about my upper and lower lid surgery. The skill of Dr. Putterman and the helpfulness of office staff and surgery center staff put me at ease. The outcome is beautiful!

Dr. Putterman did surgery on both of my eyelids which had drooped into my pupil. The information provided before the surgery was excellent. The actual surgery went without a hitch. The aftercare was also excellent. His office staff was wonderful. My questions were quickly answered. Now, four months after surgery, I am often complimented (even by strangers) on my "beautiful eyes." What a nice surprise! In addition, my peripheral vision has returned along with improvement in my general sight. I was somewhat nervous and reluctant going into this but I'm very pleased I had it done. Kudos and gratitude to Dr. Putterman. Thank you for a job well done!

So grateful for Dr. Putterman! I had upper/lower eyelid surgery for both eyes by another surgeon and ended up seeing Dr. Putterman to fix both eyes after my original surgery. One of my eyes was a bit complicated (in my opinion) to fix and I wasn't sure anything could be done about it. Dr. Putterman is an absolute perfectionist. My only regret is that I wish I would have gone to him first. The results were better than I expected so much so that I had him re-do the other eye so they would match as both lower lids had retracted after the original surgery by another doctor. Dr. Putterman answered all my questions and took the time to explain the procedures so that I would feel comfortable. He was honest in his opinions and didn't "sugarcoat" anything. He may be a man of few words, but is pleasant to work with and I couldn't imagine trusting anyone else with my eyes! I truly am so grateful! I enjoyed working with his Resident as well. She is also very knowledgeable and I felt completely at ease seeing her. Dr. Putterman makes sure to see you for every follow up visit and is very involved in the after care of his patients which is so important. The staff is very friendly and helpful taking the time to answer questions and help schedule follow up appointments, surgeries, etc. So thankful!

Dr. Putterman and his staff were wonderful! I am so grateful for everything - especially the special attention I felt. My eyelids were hanging in front of my irises and were beginning to cause problems with my sight. Dr. Putterman suggested going under my eyelids to tighten the muscles which I'd never heard of before. He also suggested taking out some skin above and below the lid. I wasn't sure about this but did consent based on my belief that he knew what he was doing. The surgery went very well. I was given post op instructions that involved applying compresses soaked in ice water and later cleaning my eyes with distilled water and applying two different ointments along with drops twice daily. This was very easy to do. It's now two months after my surgery. The bruising has disappeared and there are few traces of surgery. As a matter of fact, last week, two total strangers told me "What beautiful eyes you have!" This made my day to know that now people can see my eyes rather than my drooping lids. I feel much better about myself. I recommend Dr. Putterman to anyone with drooping lids. He is kind and caring as well as open and honest. I had no unpleasant surprises! Thank you, Dr. Putterman!

Dr. Putterman, after lengthy research was found to be one of the highest rated occuloplastic surgeons in the country, performed my dacryosictic rhynostemy. I was only 27 at the time and very concerned about the facial scarring. The surgery included removal of broken tear ducts by cutting about 1.5" from corner of my eye to follow my natural bag line and drilling a new drainage area through bone. It was a very serious surgery that initially left a nasty scar. The recovery was rough, much worse than advised and anticipated. But after several months maybe close to a year, the scar was finally gone...completely blended in to my bag line under my eye just like Dr. Putterman assured me. Most importantly, the surgery was a complete success and my eye finally quit constantly watering after a year+ dealing with that annoying symptom. Unfortunately, now 15 years later this problem has returned as warned by the Dr. So I hope the man with the magic hands is still doing surgeries.
