Everything about my visit to this location for the vaccine was excellent.  Everything and I was extremely impressed with their sanitizing as mentioned in my prior review.  My only disappointment was with their main office billing and I cut the ties when I opted out of them trying to put me in MediCal when I have other insurance that would pay 100% for tests and vaccines if the correct CPT code were used.  I would strongly recommend others to use this site if they have MediCal.  Two perfect visits.Yesterday I had two spam calls just a minute or two apart and then I got a third call and I really cussed when I answered saying to never call my number again.  I had no idea it was from this group as it said unknown caller.  When I saw Huntington Park I called back and heard it was AltaMed and the wait was 199 minutes.  Of course I hung up.  I had already deleted all their numbers from my Contacts.I have no idea why they were calling but it was probably to tell me I was eligible for the Pfizer booster.  I had already decided I was never returning and I had messaged them that I was not returning to any AltaMed and I had decided I would get the booster from a pharmacy.  I was more disappointed that both vaccines from February and March still have not been billed to my insurance TO DATE.  I just do not have time for these kind of problems.  I pay hefty insurance premiums and I just expect correct billing. The billing for the test at another AltaMed site was outrageously wrong not showing the COVID test but as a new patient and paid a ridiculous amount. That red flag sent me away. If the billing had not been such a fiasco requiring me to make too many calls I probably would have made this my home office because of the friendliness and protective measures to make sure patients were not exposed to COVID19. It was nice to sit in a lobby and not be made to feel like a fly in a fruit bowl as other places made me feel since I was not of the same background of the majority there..Anyone willing to make a commute through an industrial area should know this facility has been superior to any I visited in the last 5 years.

My Doctors and Dentist are the best. Leah and Carla the receptionists at Boyle Heights dental office are the best. Thank you all for everything

I am a person who hates long commutes after years of driving close to two 2 hours to work and had to travel every week.  This location was over a half an hour drive but I was so glad I made the drive.  I had never been to Huntington Park.  Blessings come when we need them.  Unable to get a vaccine watching a computer for appointments at various locations I suddenly got a text from AltaMed because last year when we were to select sites with drivethru testing for the COVID19 virus I chose an address and when I arrived saw a large AltaMed trailer.  I was already in their system with my insurance info when I went for the COVID19 test. I had given up on the vaccine thinking I would be lucky to get it at all in 2021 when I sat for too many hours watching the computer for appointments to open and they never did.. I also  had postponed some imaging tests at another place until I got the vaccine out of fear of having to be near a clinician for long periods.  Lucky for me no side effects from the vaccine.  As a longhauler from July I never wanted to experience the virus again.Boy this AltaMed deserves 10 stars.  It is a new very large beautiful building expanding a block on their cross street and it was the most organized experience I have ever had.  Today was their first day at that location so I was lucky to be contacted.  As a courtesy I always arrive early 45+ minutes to appointments everywhere so that others never have to wait.My text to schedule directed me to do an echeck in where I completed many questions over the weekend.  I arrived  early because I was not familiar with that part of the county and my temperature was taken and I walked straight through.  They had zones inside and as patients moved from one zone to the next the seats and handouts that were laminated were sanitized.  As we waited the 15 minutes after the vaccine they again sanitized as patients left and had small bags of snacks and water as we waited.  Every employee gave a greeting and also thanked us for coming as we left.They had a security guard at the building and another watching cars in their large parking lot at no charge to park.They use MyChart by Epic.  By the time I returned home I had a message to confirm my second dose appointment and a message to schedule a mammogram. This location is great for my vaccine but it is too far for me to go for routine health visits having to drive on freeways.  MyChart lets a patient input all their data and medical info including family members health info and relationship to the member and the date of a condition as well as schedule appointments for overall health.   MyChart is superior to another program at another clinic.  I was trying to find WalMart which was nearby according to Maps.  I never found it because Huntington Park was a lot of small shops one story buildings and street parking with no meters and cars parked diagonally.  Cars parked in front of all the little shops.  I think I missed WalMart because I was looking for a big store.  I will find it on my next visit for my second vaccine. It was nice to see so many mom and pop shops of every kind that Amazon has not displaced. In LA we pay for parking all over the place but not in Huntington Park.

Great facility and helpful staff from the front desk workers who do the check in to the pharmacy counter and of course the nurses and my doctor. I have been coming to this location since November 2018 and my doctor Dr. Runas and the usual nurse I get Mirna are always on time kind and very thorough. They always explain things to me completely and answer any questions I have and I do not feel like they are rushing through my appointment. I have visited Dr. Runas for a variety of appointments ranging from a sprained toe to a general physical and each time I get excellent care. Dr. Runas is also very friendly and he and all the nurses make me feel very comfortable.

Dr. Elizabeth was quick to see me.And really took her time to properly diagnose the issue.Thank you

Ive always had a great experience here. Every single staff and Dr. Ive encountered have always been courteous and professional. Just recently I was out sick for two days forgot to get my Dr.s note after my visit with them. Following day I called to request it be sent to my job. My supervisor had the note within 20min of that call.

Went here yesterday and my experience was very positive. People at the front desk are very helpful and the nurses were great. My Doctor was great she was very helpful and made me feel at ease. Also Im a big guy so removing my shirt for a stranger isnt easy lol but they made me feel comfortable. Place is clean and you can drink free coffee while you wait but you wont be waiting very long I was attended to quickly.

My mom went here recently and she loved it. She was treated kindly by the staff. She was called in quickly. They went above and beyond for her thank you AltaMed

I love the cleanliness and freshness of the building my Drs a great position and so easy to talk with the nurses are superb and very helpful in every way.
