Very knowledgeable and a great person. One of the very few doctors I’ve experienced whom I actually trust and know she has my best interest in mind. Great front office staff as well.

I want to thank Dr. Amanda Ivy. I am 68 years old and had been very healthy until I had an accident fall. I called my children. One is a doctor and one is a physical therapist. I needed their advice.My daughter started arranging all of my health care. She chose Dr. Amanda Ivy in New Braunfels, Texas to do my shoulder surgery. I even had to travel out of town. It was well worth it. Dr. Ivy was very personable and knowledgeable. She explained the surgeryprocess to me. Although, she showed me the x-rays, she drew the diagram of the surgery on paper. Her staff was amazing in setting up my initial visit, along with follow up appointments and setting up Physical Therapy.. The hospital staff was amazing as well. The surgery was a success, just as Dr. Ivy had planned. I am in phase II of physical therapy. Dr. Ivy gives very clear instructions and expect you to follow them. I am recovering well. I have been to multiple orthopedic surgeons for various body parts. I went to Dr. Ivy for knees and she does excellent work. Not only that but I feel like all the decisions she makes regarding my care are very down to earth and sensible. She really listens to what is going on with the patient and helps develop the best course of treatment with that patient's life in mind. I would recommend her with the highest confidence to a family member or friend.
