I was 14 years old when my parents took me to Dr. Cognetta for severe acne. I’m now 49 years old. He changed my world for the better back then. I was bullied and made fun of because of my skin. He was very patient with my constant whining and impatience. I will always remember him for making a positive change in my life as an adolescent.

I have been going to him for years and could not be more pleased. Completely satisfied and feel I get excellent care. Have had melanoma, basil, and squamous cell and know he is extremely thorough with his exams. I feel safe and secure with him.

Dr. Cognetta recently performed my Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma. He was awesome and thorough and informative. He also has a great bedside manner that puts you at ease. His PA Deren Hooks is awesome too she is the kindest person and made the stressful day much easier for me.

I recently had Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma which was performed by Dr. Cognetta. I could not have been more satisfied with the care and treatment I received from this physician and his staff (Deren his PA is awesome). His colleague Dr. McKinney did my repair after my Mohs surgery and I am equally as pleased with my experience with him. I was anxious going into the surgery but Dr. Cognetta and his staff were so kinda and caring that it made a stressful situation much better!

Dr. Cognetta is an outstanding skin cancer professional. . .perhaps the best in that Nation. He understands both the science of his medical specialty but takes the time to show the patient what is happening, how it will be treated and what is the prognosis. And he does this consistently.

Dr. Cognetta saved my life twice when he found and treated me for two melanomas. I've been seeing him since 1995. He is a great Dr.,But an even better person.
