Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates Camp Creek

I had a wonderful experience at Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates. I was seen right away after checking in. I was seen by Dr. Okoro, and she's incredible, to say the least! Dr. Okoro was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere! Dr. Okoro showed a great level of empathy while addressing my concerns. I appreciate Dr. Okoro for taking the time to go over my diagnosis and treatment options. I've been dealing with IBS-C for 15 years now, and her recommendations and treatment options has put my mind and condition at ease. I'm glad I decided to give this practice a try!!! A little resilience and persistence goes a long way!! I highly recommend Dr. Okoro to anyone that is suffering from IBS, or any related condition, and is looking for real results!!!!

Dr. Okoro, is a great doctor, She is such a people person. She listens to you and does her research to get to the source of the problem. I've taken my husband who was experiencing pain for years and she, after "twisting his arm" he finally made and he is doing so much better. Now I'm sending my uncle. She is worth the wait in the wait room.

My appointment last week was nothing short of seamless, the young man “especially” and lady at the front desk were very very helpful. Even with an office full of patients he offered beverage, fixed me an amazing cup of coffee “with cream” and the young lady kept everyone updated on the wait time. I observed him also running to catch a patient that had left that forgot something, he was very hospitable, kind and helpful. The nurses are amazing Dr.Gordon’s nurse Kia was very helpful in helping schedule my procedure. This was just an overall EXCELLENT experience!! I’ll definately be referring my associates, friends and family to Dr.Gordon and this office. The front office/staff is certainly an asset to this company that young man and young lady made sure everything was smooth & efficient.

After I scheduled my first office appointment with Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates. I received a professional text message with my appointment information with Dr. Okoro. During my office visit, I was immediately, professionally and warmly greeted with a smile and assisted with signing in and completing paperwork for my visit. Thereafter, I continued having a wonderful experience of waiting in their front office lobby which felt more like a 5 star lounge. The lobby, bathroom, hall way and patient exam rooms were exceptionally, clean, fresh, neat, and organized with detail, which I'd never experienced before in my past medical office visits at other offices. I give my visit and overall experience with Dr. Okoro a 12 because I had a total outstanding patient/doctor/office staff encounter.

They are good i guess. Just be carful she will call you fat even though thats not the reason why you are there and tell you that you have to many children (2). I thought i was going to talk about my hernia not ly weight or kids .

Will not be returning! Dr. Moton is an lovely Dr it sucks that her staff is so unprofessional. the two ladies at the front desk seem to need more training one stays on her phone actually had a conversation while I was standing there maybe she doesn't know you can see her Bluetooth hanging which is so unprofessional. the young man that was there at my last visit this summer is gone so I'm guessing he wised up and left thinking back to my previous visit he seemed to be working and she was on the phone at that time as well, and the other lady seems to not have it together at all . Customer service goes a long way and this office certainly needs a refresher, Nurses are nice and Dr Moton's assistant is always willing to help. Unfortunately I cant say I'd ever refer anyone here.

Dr. Gordon is NOT personable at all! No concern, no feedback, no suggestions, didn’t even bother to discuss my condition with me.

I've switched providers, being that I was late going to work on one occassion after waiting over an hour past my appointment time that I arrived approx. 20 mintues ahead of time. Two other different times, I left since I was waiting over an hour. They lost my insurance numerous of times, VA, while trying to charge me because of their mistake. I would not recommend them if you are currently in search of a provider.

They tell you to arrive on time, but it takes over an hour to even get to the back. Then you wait another 20 minutes to see the doctor. Nothing has been solved with my husband's issues. A gentleman missed his appointment and was taken back before us. And if the receptionist pops her gum one more time.

After waiting almost an hour after my appointment time to be seen, the doctor spent very little time discussing my gastrointestinal issue and instead focused on my weight for the majority of the appointment. During this discussion, he gave me inaccurate advice and used what I believed to be a patronizing tone towards me after I told him I had already changed my diet and lost approximately 40 pounds. He insisted that diet cola and unsweetened green tea were going to cause weight gain (they absolutely do not) and mocked me when I told him I wouldn't be buying the name brand organic foods he advised me to buy. I would never return here and would suggest to other overweight patients needing a GI specialist to find a more knowledgeable and polite practitioner.
