Words are not enough to express my gratitude for Doctor Cohen‘s compassion, care and impeccable skill. I often refer to him as “MY HERO” My vision was extremely poor my entire life. I am over 50 years old and began wearing corrective lenses at the age of two.Doctor Cohen removed my Cataracts. I no longer need corrective lenses. You will never find a more humble, compassionate, skilled doctor. I Will always be grateful to this wonderful man for making my dreams come true!

In the past 4 years, I have been under the care of Dr. Cohen. I have nicknamed him, Dr. Sight Saving Cohen. He has done the impossible. When I first came to him, he asked why I did not have the Cataract in my right eye removed. I told him, that my previous doctors, stated that I was legally blind, and an operation was useless. Dr. Cohen said, "Let me try." It took 45 minutes, one of the longest surgery. He saved the sight in my eye. The second procedure was the removal of scar tissue and was successful. Third procedure Cataract removal was such a success, that I hardly need glasses. Words can not express my gratitude for his compassion, care and skill, in all he did for saving my sight. Giving me a better life.

I am 88 years old with cataracts in both eyes. My vision had become very bad. A big thank you to Dr. Cohen! My vision has improved tremendously! Dr Cohen’s bedside manor is amazing. He took the time to explain everything. My life has improved greatly. I would most certainly recommend Dr Cohen. His office staff are friendly and so helpful! Thank you !!

Dr. Abeaham Cohen has been my family physician since summer 2006, he is caring, knowledgeable, and funny. We and our friends & family have been taken care of for many years and I wish him well.

Dr. Avraham Cohen is a wonderful ophthalmologist! He, and all his staff, are caring and professional. It is a well run office, where you are not kept waiting to see the doctor. Dr. Cohen is well informed on my specific eye issues and is on top of the lastest treatments. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment to see Dr. Cohen for your sight issues.

I saw Dr Cohen last night as my opthamologist treating me for diabetic retinopathy found the pressure in my left eye was dangerously high. He prescribed drops and a pill and had me follow up with Dr Cohen, Who is the glaucoma specialist of the practice. To say I was anxious is an understatement. From the minute Dr Cohen walked in the room I immediately felt at ease. He check my pressure in both eyes...and rhey were both in a really good range, he was extremely happy. He explained in easy for non medical people to understand, what was going on. I’ve never been so happy to see a dr as I have in the last few months of my opthomollgic journey. I am extremely grateful Dr Cohen was able to fit me in on a Monday evening and am just as grateful for the great care and over the top service I received. I will whole heartedly refer this fine gentleman to whomever may be in need of his services!

I am very grateful to my wonderful Ophthalmologist Dr. Avraham Cohen. Not only has he helped to improve my eyesight, (I have Glaucoma) with medication and Lasers, but he has given me the confidence that I will always see. Always having perfect eye sight it was shocking to learn in my mid 30s that I had a cataract. When I was referred to Dr. Cohen I was nervous but he has a calm demeanor that quickly put me at ease. He took the time to explain all the options with patience and detail. He has a wonderful staff that were also supportive throughout the process. Dr. Cohen is in demand so the surgery did not take place right away but it was worth the wait. The surgery itself went smoothly and I remember being amazed at how well I could see again instantly. Dr. Cohen is the best doctor I have ever met, he knows his specialty, is genuine and truly cares for his patients.

Dr. Cohen from the day I met him told me he would change my life. As a 28 year old requiring cataracts surgery I was not sure exactly what to expect. I have fought leukemia for over five years and from a bone marrow transplant in 2017 have been on steroids. The steroids induced terrible cataracts and I was barely able to see for the past year or so. Dr. Cohen went out of his way to make sure my procedure went as planned and even when I got sick before my second eye surgery was done he rescheduled just for me and came in on his day off to make sure I could get both my eyes fixed. Now I have 20/20 vision for 2020 we joked in his office the day after surgery. I could not be more happy with the results and would highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone who wants to be comfortable and taken care of. As a cancer patient I have had a lot of doctors and medical procedures done and this time with Dr. Cohen was by far the most positive and impactful. I am so glad I was able to meet such a caring doctor to help me with my life. Thank you again Dr. Cohen!! 5/5 stars!

I am 86 years old and both of my children are physicians. They helped me write this review. Dr. Cohen is a marvelous technical surgeon (you want this the most from your doctor), but just as importantly, he is an exemplary human being. Compassion and empathy govern his manner and practice. It is hard getting older. One feels less like a participant and more like a vulnerable spectator. Improved vision can help, but one is anxious and tentative. Most ophthalmologists service the needs of the eye but not necessarily the soul governing it. What a wonderful gift when you can get both. On behalf of myself and my family, I say to Dr. Cohen: "thank you!" We are forever grateful for your exemplary care and humanity.
