I've recently been through a prostate cancer diagnosis and was referred to the practice but my initial assignment to Dr. Lwin was as far as I know just based on his availability. Bot was I lucky. He was patient, took as much time as I needed, discussed every test and diagnosis along the way and at all times was very supportive of my doing what I was comfortable with. Along the way another issue popped up which required minor surgery to get a more complete understanding in which he was the surgeon. That was somewhat scary for me but he was supportive, it went well, and most important pretty much everything that happened I was aware of before hand and his council was 100% accurate. Most important to me, I had a choice between surgery and radiation, but even though he's a surgeon with a vested interest in doing procedures, even when I chose radiation he was completely supportive. At this point I count him as a doctor and a friend. I've developed great respect and highly recommend him
