My husband saw Dr. Winn in the ER at Sallisaw, OK. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and quickly produced a multiple diagnosis. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Winn, and we wish he had a private practice so we could use him as our regular medical provider.

I was seen by Dr. Winn in the ED. He spent a great deal of time with me, explained the diagnosis and the medicine that he was prescribing. I have never been seen by a more compassionate and caring physician. He called within 24 hours to see how I was doing. I would recommend this physician to everyone.

Wife went to Muskogee Regional E.R. never saw Dr. Winn he was not her attending doctor to make a long story short received a bill for $440 dollars the bill showed my insurance which is Global Health HMO accepted by MRMC but apparently not by Dr.Winn paid him $247 dollars on his evaluation which would be in line for what the HMO would pay under contract for the services rendered any amount more would have to be written off by contract. Dr. Winn billed us for the amount the HMO did not pay him we had to resubmitt claim with my HMO which involves time for review meanwhile this bill has been turned over for collection causing us headache with collection calls.My HMO agreed to pay the extra amount billed but feel Dr. Winns billing personell could have resubmitted the extra amount reqested to the HMO and saved the headache of the bill going to collections. Global HMO customers beware of using MRMC apparently all thier doctors do not accept this insurance.
